I can appreciate honest observations and constructive straight talk about this tragedy. But please stop the name calling and disparaging remarks on this thread for people to honor and grieve the loss of this musical legend. That remark was uncalled for on THIS thread.

Show some decency if not for Ms. Houston.. then for her fans who love and grieve her loss.

It is not my intention to offend anyone.

But I will utilize my first amendment rights and continue to speak constructively and as

honestly as I feel. While most of you are putting on airs because a singer died, I am

being contemplative about my own life.

If that means saying some things that are disagreeable with the norms being expressed

around here, then you better not read my posts.

But again, if I have offended anyone, I am sorry that you took offense.

lol. The Bill of Rights applies to government. You speech here is limited to what is allowed on this site.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Would it kill this site to stop with the nagging and fighting for one night? Hell, we've been through this with Michael and now Teena, are you seriously going on arguing in a thread about a now-late music legend? Seriously?

People just have to remember that the best way to shut a troll up is to ignore them.

Oh well I just have one thing left to say:

Everyone gets into a charitable, simpathetic mood when a celebrity dies.

So this is the lesson (that we should've learned from recent departures) that we all can learn; The next time you feel the urge to say something snide, hurtful or rude about a celebrity (or hell, anyone for that matter) and you know that it will hurt them emotionally (celebrities don't live in a vaccuum unless they conciously decide to stay away from ALL things media) , think twice and STOP!

Don't do it.

Instant better world.

None of these celebritries are alive now to appreciate all the love we failed to show them while they were going through their stuff (Amy Whinehouse, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston).

Just a thought Im sure at this time on a saturday night BET is on a skeleton staff, which is basically a hand full of interns. They are just hitting a button to start pre recorded programs.
