Report: King of Pop To Adopt
Posted on Mar 23, 2009 @ 03:06 send it print it

Michael Jackson, enjoying a slight career resurgence with 50 sold-out dates in Britain this summer, has contacted an English agency in hopes of adopting a child.

"His life is his children," a source told the Daily Express. "Wherever he goes, they go, and he has said it would be good to have another child."

The singer is already father to three children: Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, whom he fathered during his marriage to nurse Deborah Rowe; and 7-year-old Prince Michael II, who was born to an unknown woman.

The source, according to Daily Express, said that Jackson, 50, feels he has moved past the child molestation allegations that surfaced in 1993, and again ten years later.

"Michael feels that the British fans really understand him," the source told the Web site. "It is a new beginning.

Is there meant to be an announcement?

Personally I hope not. I would rather not know what he is playing until the show itself.

I know a fan who's friend had a tryout for the show. I wanna know the stage setup, the costumes....the structure of the show. Stuff like that interests me lol I kinda want to know how's gonna be done. I don't think some of the stuff like the 100 lookalikes and stuff is gonna make it because if you've read the articles that were leading up to the Bad Tour and Dangerous Tour along with the HIStory shows, it was alot of speculation then alot of the stuff reported....wasn't there lol

i said he would do something stupid like that. he'll probably cock everything right up by getting into another major scandal before the first concert, and that'll end it all. there is just so much against him as it is. even if he was as fit as a fiddle and raring to go, it could just all come crashing down on him. if jade can be hated by the world for being a racist one minute, and hailed as the new messaih the next, the same can happen here. the british media is like a pack of wolves, and the british public so fickle and easily persuaded by the press. if MJ pisses the wrong person off it could be curtains for him

Don't believe everything you read, are you persuaded that easily, the story is a pile of garbage , just like the story of mj fathering quadruplets , what a silly story..

Michael Jackson to go by boat to 02 concerts

Exclusive by Tom Bryant 24/03/2009

Michael Jackson will be taken to his shows at the O2 Arena by boat after he told organisers he is scared of helicopters and of being stuck in traffic.

Bosses at AEG Live - who are promoting the 50 dates - planned to keep Jacko in the countryside to stop a media circus.

But Jackson, 50, said he hated helicopters and had a fear of being driven "in public places". They've now employed a river boat company to transport him to and from the 02 Arena, in London's Greenwich, and are looking at properties in Central London.

A source said: "He loves the idea of turning up by boat - he thinks it's much more glamorous and very James Bond."

The pop legend is said to be "ecstatic" about the way his comeback is being received. The This Is It shows start on July 8.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/c...-21223747/

Michael Jackson Invites Harry Potter Stars To O2’s Opening Night

Harry Potter films have Michael Jackson for an ardent fan that the pop king has invited the Potter stars to be his guests at the opening night of his Live 8 gig.

On screen Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe, 19, Emma Watson, 18, and Rupert Grint, 20, have not only been specially invited to the show, but also can gain entry to the backstage at the O2 on July 8.

The Sun had a source as saying "Michael is a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and films. He was utterly enchanted by the magic of JK Rowling's novels. The tales of Harry and his pals in the books gripped him, he has followed them all religiously. He is a big admirer of the films too, he owns all the movies and he has bought memorabilia for his collection. He has also shown an interest in going to the premiere for the final instalment of the Potter films”

The pop entertainer is believed to be one among the very few to own a prized first edition of 'Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone,' Rowling's debut novel worth up to a whopping amount of 10,000 pounds.

Chris Martin can't get Michael Jackson tickets

By 3am 24/03/2009

Despite playing 50 London gigs, tickets for Michael Jackson are like goldust... just ask Chris Martin.

The Coldplay star, who is a massive Wacko fan, moaned: "I was looking at it on the internet and thought, 'I'd better buy some for myself' and I couldn't. They were totally sold out.

"To sell out like that is a testament to talent. It is just amazing to sell out 50 shows in one city in a big arena. It's the biggest comeback since Lazarus. It's good news - but not for me."

Maybe you could be the support act Chris?

I was thinking the same thing, even if he does plan to do some shows in the USA, I think it would definitely be another record sell-out but that the American fans might have to put up a fight with the fans from overseas who either didnt get to see him in London or who did but want to see him again eek

I think the approach is cool - and yes the emphasise should be on live vocals. And I see how you have built up the show to hit hard on the fourth set. Your post has inspired a few ideas so I will have to get back to you on that front, but I think its a great collection of songs.

PETA Criticise Michael Jackson Over 'Elephant Plans'
At comeback shows...
by Jason Gregory
Wednesday, March 25, 2009

Animal rights group PETA have expressed concern over reports Michael Jackson is planning to use live animals at his comeback gigs in London.

A report in today's Daily Mirror newspaper claimed the singer had asked organisers if he could ride onto stage on the back of an African Elephant at the O2 Arena gigs.

The animal would form part of an elaborate jungle section, which also includes a panther, three monkeys and a 100 Masai warriors, the newspaper claimed.

In a statement to Gigwise, a spokesperson for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) condemned Jackson's reported plans.

"Michael Jackson gave away his chimpanzee, and left giraffes, elephants and other animals in appalling, cramped conditions when he vacated the Neverland Ranch,” they told Gigwise.

“These exotic animals belong in Africa, not the O2 Arena among screaming fans, bright lights and stage explosions.

“These wild animals are deprived of everything that is natural and important to them when they are forced to perform under stressful conditions.
"Michael needs to learn to leave exotic animals alone."

According to the newspaper, organisers have expressed concern that Jackson's plans could break animal welfare laws.

Jackson's 50 shows at the O2 Arena, which begin on July 8th, have already sold out.

The singer will perform to over a million people during his London residency, which will run into 2010.

Jackson, now 50, has not performed a full concert since he was cleared of child molestation charges in 2005. His last full tour, entitled HIStory, took place in 1996 and '97.

http://www.gigwise.com/ne...hant-Plans

So he's supposedly arriving by boat, wants to ride an elephant up on the stage, supposedly wants to adopt another baby from England and is threatening the auction house that's handling the auction of his stuff with "bloodshed" if they continue on with the auction rolleyes July is about 3 months away but already alot of drama is happening disbelief Are these nothing but rumors made up by the evil, MJ-hating media, lol, or are all these stories calculated PR stunts? hmmm

According to this article Mike told his associates to make contact with a British adoption agency...

Michael Jackson is ready to make a splash in England and perhaps adopt a baby? The Cleveland leader writes, "While staying in Britain for his sell-out concerts this summer, Michael Jackson is planning to adopt a child. Jackson, who already has three children, has told his associates to make contact with a British adoption agency with links throughout the world...."

PETA Criticise Michael Jackson Over 'Elephant Plans'
At comeback shows...

His last full tour, entitled HIStory, took place in 1996 and '97.

if a PR company made any of that up, they certainly wouldn't be working for MJ unless he's completely flipped his lid, as who on earth would think of linking michael jackson up with kids as a positive thing? adoption stories, the kids from harry potter and a bunch of monkeys on stage? there was another sighting of him coming out a plastic surgery specialist with blue plastic bags over the heads of his kids. imagine how fucked up those kids are going to turn out

AEG haven't even sold all the fucking tickets, you wouldn't believe how many they've kept back, it makes the prince ticket fiasco seem like an example of good practice by comparison

what happened to turning up onstage, singing the songs people want to hear, and persuading folks to buy tickets because the show it actually good? if people want to see a circus they can see britney spears instead
