Why? Cause been there done that, and came to the conclusion (at my age) it's not me.

My point was (previous post), I prefer to treat 'everyone' as a person first.

No matter what colour or whatever or whomever anyoneone likes to stick their dick or tongue in.

People are people first and foremost, always, everywhere - individuals, individualy.

And if you like to talk within context about any group, that's ok, as long as you understand the human side of it all (and as long as you can avoid the unneeded stigmatizing of any group through generization. But I'm sure you agree with me on that). smile

Gay culture excist for those who want that or need that. Not me.

I really can't see the benefit in that.

I'm a human who happenes to be gay, but that is NOT IMPORTANT AT ALL!

I wonder if that would've been a defense where being gay is an indefensible state of being. You'd perhaps think twice about attempting to delegitimize gay culture, community, and relevance if there were folks out there hunting your head for who you sleep with.

princes whole thing from the late 90s or so to the end was basically 'hey im not gay, hey im def not gay, did i tell you im not gay?' he was trying to make sure no one could accuse him of being anything other than straight. he was basically 'atoning' for his transgressions, making sure no one thought he was too weird in any department, whether it be image, music, lyrics, clothing, etc etc.

The more you read, the less it is Prince deliberately creating ambiguity and it is mostly from the minds of others - Not that Prince did not play with this whilst he unequivocably denied it from very early on (eg Uptown)
