I do not recall anyone saying they found pills in the studios or under seat cushions or in his cars.It was about 100 pills and a few people on this board who get these pills say they come in 90 day batches. Prince did not have a pill factory in Paisley Park and considering it is a 65 Sq foot facilty he could have hid these pills well enough so they could not be found at all. Think about that for a moment. The security cameras were off so we have no idea what happened in that building until the EMT arrived. [Edited 5/30/17 14:24pm] But they were in aspirin bottles and vitamin bottles? and you keep changing your argument, first he's taking them because of pain, then he's not taking them they were planted then Pat Cousins stole a church so obviously we can add that to Kirk's ingenious plan. Now, who's gonna help me mow the lawn? 🕶 Oh shite....this is freakin' hilarious! Will probably get lots of mileage out of this gem. Thanks moonsister..... You went from what you thought were "arguments" all the way down to this. That was a quick, albeit predictable, decline.

If he was following a supply schedule, he wouldn't have needed to buy from the streets and hide them in other bottles.

Just cause he did not get them directly from an ND doesn't mean we can say he was not following a schedule..perhaps he knows what he previously was prescribed and was taking them based off previous usage. And I hide my meds in different bottles for the simple fact that people have been known to steal prescriptions from.people. And if mine gets stolen i am.out of luck and will be thrown into withdrawals because Dr are no longer allowed to replace under any circumstances. I guess I'll be called an addict because I do that by everyone on here. I don't care tho I just want everyone to understand there are other reasons for storing in alternate containers. Honestly because it's so regulated i lock the majority of mine up. I take out a week at a time. We have had burglary in our neighborhood and some little ole lady had all her meds stolen to include her oxycodone. .

He was not seeing a doctor, and may very well have had little to no direction on how many pills to use. I highly doubt he was on a schedule. H probably took them as needed, and he kept a stash, or stashes all over the place because he was wealthy and he could afford to keep an ample supply. He was probably afraid of running out too. I imagine there was some comfort and security in knowing that there were always some drugs around.

On the one hand, what a blessing that you and your daughter got to share the experience of seeing Prince, live and together...on the other hand I'm jealous. I can only share with my daughter videos and his songs. (I'll try my best to get over it because jealousy isn't a good look on me).

I am beginning to see this as a very inhospitable forum. Too bad. I think we all respect the artist Prince but disagree on the meaning of the terms drug addiction and drug dependency, and being able to let him be imperfect enough to have gotten caught up in this opioid epidemic. There is still lots of stereotyping going on about drug addiction. I could accept he was just another victim of the epidemic but Tyka's comments about knowing he was going to die two years ago gives me the creeps and I wonder why people who think Kirk killed Prince aren't also accusing Tyka, since she admits she knew it was going to happen. If we are going to suspect foul play shouldn't we look at the people who are confessing, like Tyka?

He did not come by those drugs that were stored in other containers, legally.

. Usually, people who are drug addicts do not eat much, or don't eat at all. Their drug is their food of choice. I remember when Dave Gahan was using heroin, he looked like hell. He was always thin, but he looked like a walking skeleton when he was using.
I understand where you are coming from Clover, but you are referencing running up heroin, basically-and the question was specifically in regards to pain pills. With that, I stand by what I've stated from a medical standpoint. In my line of work, I've seen hundreds of opiate addicts, and 98% of them were at healthy weights..some even over weight.

Whooooohhhh Lawd AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH!!!! Milpatrick, Curious...being that you have stated you personally have experience with pain meds on a daily basis under a Dr's care...are you normal weight for your height? I'm not trying to be crass ..I'm trying to show someone such as yourself that is prescribed upwards of 3 pills a day (you stated you get 180 for a 90 day supply) is more than likely at your normal weight, and not 20 pounds underweight. I mean no ill will- I your personal experience may help clarify some questions that we have here in regards to this subject Precioux [Edited 6/1/17 17:14pm]

How does withdrawal work? If you use opiates for an extended period of time, your body becomes desensitized to the drug. This means you’ll need more of it to feel its effects. Extended use of opiates changes the structure of nerve cells in your brain. These cells will begin to need the drug just to function properly. When you stop using opiates abruptly, your body will react, leading to symptoms of withdrawal. Opiate withdrawal occurs in two phases. The first phase includes a number of symptoms, such as: muscle aches restlessness anxiety agitation tearing eyes runny nose excessive sweating sleeplessness excessive yawning low energy The second phase is marked by: diarrhea abdominal cramps nausea and vomiting dilated pupils rapid heartbeat goose bumps These initial phases, which can last anywhere from a week to a month, can be followed by long-term withdrawal symptoms. Long-term symptoms are often less physical in nature and may involve emotional or behavioral issues. Could very well be that Prince was in the earlier stages of withdrawal until the 20th, when he got desperate and went to that quack Dr S, and then made the fatal mistake of taking the illegal drug. Note how long the early stages of withdrawal can last, from a week to a month.

Prince was taking illegal drugs, but this time he was unlucky and his illegal drugs contained fentanyl. In the city I live in, two 15 year old girls died from an overdose of Fentanyl. It was mixed with the party drug ecstasy. They had no idea they were taking Fentany. Fentany is a drug that many, even experienced users, are afraid of. You can buy kits that help you identify if your drugs are laced with fentanyl.

So then Prince wanted us to see he was skinny but not too skinny? He could have stayed out of the public eye but still put it out there in photographs and concerts. Did P want us to know he was ill? Just saying.

. Is this an open forum? Wow, really?! I had no idea! . I'm not sure why you are interjecting yourself into a conversation that you were not orginally a part of, and when you appear to not know what you are talking about. If you cared to look back several posts, where "Pricetag" started insulting me (which was unwarranted), then you would see what had transpired, and why I "politely" asked him/her to stop replying to my posts (above). If you do not understand what transpired, then you are really in no place to tell me or anyone to simply, "just not read posts that upset them". Afterall, it was MY post, so of course I had to read it, right? . But, thanks for your advice anyways. .
