Funny, but they have a clearance to genetic testing. Prince couldn't afford McDonalds in high school, but could travel to NZ. I am trying to be sarcastic and funny with that. No offense meant to anyone. Wonder when the genetic results will be released. [Edited 12/5/16 11:44am]

At least they are making them pay for the test. Finally.

I agree with you. | |

The only thing I found interesting about the divorce filings is that it says that Manuela is 38 not 40 like she claims. I thought when you lied about your age you are suppose to make yourself younger not older.

Interesting documents and arguements released today in the Tidal incident. According to the SA's arguement, Tidal has not provided additional documents to substantiate their claim to the Estate. Also, the Estate has filed a civil order for copyright infringement on Tidal's streaming of Prince's past catalogue. This will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Dixon has taken his case to the Court of Appeals. Comments?

Bremer has requested numerous times for Tidal to provide some sort of documentation and they have failed to do so. Bremer states they cannot find any payment from Tidal. So it appears Tidal has been streaming P's music for awhile without payment. Bremer is also stating even if NPG Music gave Tidal exclusive streaming rights NPG did not authorize the release of his catalogue on June 7, 2016.

No way in hell Prince gave Tidal files without money. I still say some of this deal was done on a handshake with cash or Prince put that money in some account no one can find.
The hearing is on Friday so we should know something soon.

Then Tidal should have documents showing payment of cash to P. What hearing is Friday? In the Federal Court case?

$750k is supposedly due to Prince from the agreement and Tidal has not provided documentation of the payment. I wonder how much was generated from streaming Prince's back catalogue on June 7th? If the Estate wins thier argument, I am sure not only will they ask for the money made of off the streaming, but for possible punitive damages. I would imagine that could be pretty high?

Could Tidal argue that equity share was the form of payment? They would still have to provide some agreement and documents to substantiate their arguement/stance. I would imagine that Bremer has reviewed Prince's accounts and have not discovered any deposits associated with Tidal or it's affiliates, that is why they are asking for documentation.

ISLIJAG.....yes, they have. I downloaded those docs and skimmed the majority but this statement stands out (and it is noted numerous times throughout). It reads as follows: 32. Despite the repeated requests from the Special Administrator, and Roc Nation’s multiple filings in the Carver County probate matter, Tidal and Roc Nation have not provided any documentation or evidence of any oral and implied agreement granting Roc Nation any rights beyond those rights granted in the Letter of Intent And while there are various supporting attached docs, from both parties, no copy of a contract is included. If they are indeed in possession of one, why not include it? I also found this tidbit (correspondence from Roc Nation to the MN courts, if I remember correctly) interesting: Third, the Artist and NPG conveyed to Roc Nation the right for Roc Nation artists to re-mix, in their sole discretion, the “Hit‘n RUN Phase One“ album and for Roc Nation to release such re-mix. I am suspect about this as I interpret it to mean that Roc Nation can remix Prince's Hit n Run 1 album and RELEASE IT!? Would Prince have given Roc Nation that amount of latitude with regard to his art? I don't know.....sounds kinda' shady to me.
