My take on the route that Brianna is taking with this case is that she may be following bad legal advice. Someone stated earlier that her attorney saught her out upon learning of the situation and Prince's death. Maybe this attorney does not want her to take the dna test because it's a gamble on what the results will be. Instead, he would rather drag this out in hopes of winning on this long shot. He has several of Prince's gold / platinum records that I'm sure he wants the maximum amount of money for. If the case ends too soon, he may have to return them to Brianna. It hurt my heart when I saw that this guy had those records, because I knew that he was taking advantage of Brianna. (btw, I wonder how did Brianna get possession of those items in the first place?)

--They are not Prince's gold records they were Duane's. People who work on projects can be given gold records as well as the artist. Are using her Dad's award to pay the lawyer is fucked up.

I think the Judge will just ignore her.

Otherwise, the Judge would need to cite her in Contempt of Court.

If he does cite her in Contempt of Court Claire would need to appear at Court for a hearing because a finding of Contempt can be punishable by jail time.

Most likely they do not want her near the courthouse.
