As I understand the small memorial at PP in April was because people had flown to MN so they did something small. The Exes & Kiran did the LA one for who knows what reason. Tyka said there would be a funeral in August (where the urn pic comes from), a [proper] private memorial for friends/fam (PP on saturday) and the tribute concert for the fans. It doesn't seem that big a deal but IMO the LA one was unnecessary & it's a shame the proper one happened so long after his passing but I'm sure with good reason. I doubt Prince would want a public funeral, he'd want a party for the fans.

I think he was cool with Tyka, she was working for him & I'm sure someone reported she was with him at the last PP dance party before he passed.

All I meant was the family didn't plan for the urn to be seen. But I do feel like glovergold 85. If Saturday's memorial was streamed-I wish we had known to watch. I don't think the concert tribute, which is what the thing in October will be is what the fam is looking for. Sounds like Saturdays servie would have done the trick for most of us.

But I do have to ask what's with the swag bag??? I never gotten one at a funeral?? I could be nasty and messy with my comments but I'm going to hold my peace for now.

Yessssssss she is very beautiful. I don't know if everyone looked like that in the 50s or 60s but she was amazing and all this time I thought his father was good looking. He sings about that too in black muse. He knew.

They are private people not famous and happen to have had a famous family member. It's tough for them to serve everybody I can understand that, but Prince was huge. I sometimes wonder if even I realise how huge he was. They will never have the capacity to do things how Prince did even if they had billions cause they have no relation to the fans. They have no idea what we want and it's too late anyhow. Nobody needs anything like 5 months later.

Prince had humble beginnings and stayed in MN to keep the bad people out. Who knows what such a private person would want at his funeral, probably not much. His gift to the world was his music. I have no idea what people want, and I doubt the family does. I still would like that pendant. That would make me happy!

What makes you so entitled? Prince had to work constantly to maintain social distance. Everyone here always interpreted that as a slight -- stunning that anyone should think they had a personal bond that transcends that of his immediate family.

Only the arrivals to PP were live streamed on facebook and that was by some random person outside PP. The service itself was private to family, friends and associates. TMZ just have pictures of the program and the goodies that were given to each guest.

I didn't watch it but Andre was there. Didn't see any of the Revolution but they might not have been posting pics like others. Only seen pics of Mayte, Alan, Anna F, Jill, Shelby, Twinz, the DJ, Judith & Princess. Van Jones was there. I think he was the one who mentioned people from the past & present were there. I heard Manuela was there but not seen pics.
