I don't want to judge Prince's family. But the fact of the matter is, Prince was not close to any of his siblings and he was estranged from his blood sister, "Tyka" for many years. Now, I don't know if they reconciled, but it appears that they did in recent years. What makes me angry is the fact that Tyka and the family have not had a proper memorial for Prince. They have had several small funerals/memorials for the family and close friends, but nothing for the public to attend or see. Why all these small gatherings? Why not just have one funeral/memorial? Just seems ridiculous, to me! Also, Tyka is planning a memorial for the public in October, from what I heard.....and it is not free......you have to pay to attend? Now, WTF is that all about? Prince needs to have a monument for all of his adoring fans/friends to cherish and remember his life and show respect. It's just so upsetting the way everything is being handled since Prince passed away. It's appalling, really!!

As I understand the small memorial at PP in April was because people had flown to MN so they did something small. The Exes & Kiran did the LA one for who knows what reason. Tyka said there would be a funeral in August (where the urn pic comes from), a [proper] private memorial for friends/fam (PP on saturday) and the tribute concert for the fans. It doesn't seem that big a deal but IMO the LA one was unnecessary & it's a shame the proper one happened so long after his passing but I'm sure with good reason. I doubt Prince would want a public funeral, he'd want a party for the fans.

I think he was cool with Tyka, she was working for him & I'm sure someone reported she was with him at the last PP dance party before he passed.

What really, really gets me, what gets my mind all twisted up in knots, is seeing photos of Paisley Park. Because when I see pictures of the building, it reminds me that the creator of the sounds that have kept me enthralled for the past 37 yrs or so is simply gone. Ugh didn't realise. Someone posted the TMZ story/pics on Twitter so I just posted links here but haven't looked through it all. I think she is a photographer if I'm thinking of the same person & sure I saw in here that she's not a prince fan or something.

Not sure he'd even appreciate the selfies at PP either that were all over social media tbh I know I'm gonna get dissed for saying it but the selfies scream "look at me I got an invite!"

Not crazy about those either but they weren't selling them to a rag like TMZ. That's just distasteful.

They don't have enough money to organize a big memorial and I'm sure no one is going to lend them money until the estate issues are settled. The family members are not wealthy by any stretch....

Loved it...it touched my heart.

I watched the live feed from PP on Saturday for 4 hours. I think I had my closure now. Looking at this service invitation now and the goodie bag and all of that crap I realise how tacky it is. Nothing justifies the greatness of this man and I am sure his family are in good will but they are doing everything wrong, which tells me either they did not know/were close to Prince or whatever. This is very unprofessionally handled this whole process from April 21 onwards.

I also see everyone constantly smiling and laughing except from Sheila so I begin to wonder am I the only one who feels sad looking at the pictures?

She looks very beautiful. His mother was exceptionally good looking as a young woman it seems. His dad was attractive too. With parents like that he was ok.
