Appears that the old features from the previous DVD's will be transferred over to this edition. That's about it. I hope that I'm wrong though.

If these specs are correct, then (in my opinion) Warner is screwing up by not including the music videos with the Under The Cherry Moon and Graffiti Bridge discs. The videos were included on the prior DVD releases of both films. We should petition WB to include the videos on the Blu-rays, if it isn't too late.

Not really .I own both the bluray and dvd for purple rain.there's not much of a difference at all.

Utter nonsense. First of all they aren't "transfered from DVD to Blu-ray", the BD encode is made on the basis of a high-def master that in most cases didn't exist for the DVD. There are plenty of cases where there are stunning BD editions. Ever heard of Criterion?

Indeed. Most of my DVDs became obsolete the moment I watched a Blu Ray. There is a whole world of difference between 480p and 1080p on a decent TV. A whole world. Getting Under The Cherry Moon on Blu Ray for the first time is a big deal.
