. I got one of them via JB HiFi in Australia. The other one I am less sure about. Why not order overseas? If the region stuff is not an issue, why not? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

. Dude, just buy it on amazon.com . Problem is that you might incur import taxes, since price + shipping is around the max level. . Otherwise search for a European/British BD importer, but their prices won't be nice either. . Or you can buy https://www.amazon.co.uk/...B01LTHLT70 . . [Edited 10/2/16 9:05am] © Bart Van Hemelen

. As if the rights issues that have blocked this release for ages are going to be solved now. You can easily buy this Blu-ray on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Si...00C0DV4XM/ . [Edited 10/2/16 9:05am] © Bart Van Hemelen

That's a let down. There's literally nothing in this set but the discs themselves? The discs even include fewer special features (like the music videos) than the 2004 DVDs. This is looking more and more like a pass.

. This thread is SEVEN pages, and includes various entries where people point out the technical superiority of Blu-ray versus DVD (as if that's something that still needs to be said in 2016, at a time when 4k streams are available on YouTube and Netflix and there are UltraHD Blu-rays). And yet there's still people like you who complain about the absence of a few extras, which will still be available on those DVDs even if you buy these Blu-rays. . As if Warners will be inclined to "fix" that if you don't buy these BDs. © Bart Van Hemelen

And there will still be people like you who *really* need a technically superior transfer of Graffiti Bridge. I can live without that, thanks.

nothing more than a quick cash grab & I suspect understandably aimed at the casual fan. Nothing on here worth buying for hard core unless you are a completist? A real shame as a lot of obvious things could have been added i.e. colour version of UTCM, more music videos i.e. G. Bridge [Long version of Thieves in the temple etc]
Hope it does generate the estate some $, i'll be avoiding it though.

Well you can get Under the Cherry Moon and Graffiti Bridge now in HD individually. Combine that with the SOTT movie blu-ray, and you've got the Prince theatrical collection (if you already had Purple Rain). Those two were not available before in HD.
Personally I will probably play the hell outta the Under the Cherry Moon disc when it arrives. I have never bothered to play the DVD in it's entirely because I just can't be so disrespectful to my nice TV. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

Likewise, will be picking up all three Blus tomorrow individually at Best Buy-- can't resist the purple cases (even though I already have the previous edition of Purple Rain on Blu) and finally watching UTCM in HD. Still no sign of a Canadian release. I'd totally buy from US Amazon if our dollar wasn't so crap right now. Guess I'll have to be patient...

Under The Cherry Moon in HD is worth the price of the entire set to me. To say that this collection is just a cash grab aimed at the casual fan is--judging by the number of posts here stating this will be an immediate purchase--very inaccurate.

Well, UTCM on Blu is long overdue, especially for us Prince fans, although it makes me wonder if WB would have released UTCM, along with GB, on Blu at all were it not for Prince's untimely death. Of course WB is in the business of making money, so they must have fast tracked the Blu release, especially coinciding with the opening of the Paisley Park museum. Got an advance of the Blu-ray set over the weekend. Watched "Cherry Moon" last night. . Overall pleased with the 1080p transfer, though I wouldn't call it revelatory. I'll have to dig out the DVD and do a few A/B comparisons. Nice clean transfer. Grain levels are a bit uneven throughout, but I think that's just inherent in the original cinematography. . For some reason I thought there was a full DTS-HD MA 5.1 surround remix - but alas, it's the same 2.0 mix. It does sound great in lossless audio - the problems with the original mix of course haven't changed (some dialogue has always been a bit drowned out by the score in certain scenes). But the music sounds great - and packs a nice bottom end despite being just 2.0.
