Thanks for the info. I just purchased my tickets. I'm a singleton coming to the Tribute. Flight, hotel, car and tour all booked. It would be nice if the family or bank opened up Paisley Park for a tour on Oct 13 in conjunction with the Tribute...or even separate for orgers.

Many are not on the tour and I want to be in control how long I hang at the places I'm going. Have a map planned with all the stops I wanna make "Paisley Park is in your Heart"

Yes. Thank you. That is the one that I found. I will keep that on my "to do" list. I think I'm going to hold off on reserving seats until I can confirm tickets for the tribute concert. We'll see.

Thank you for the work you're doing to arrange all this, and I hope your latest inquiry/inquiries pan out. If not, please message me because I remembered a guy I graduated high school with owns a Cinema Grill in one of the neighboring suburbs (so I'm not sure if this place is a feasible, good option or not, as getting there would likely be an issue for out of towners and such) but although I haven't talked to this guy in awhile, we were good friends in high school and he knows of my love of Prince and even contacted me once some years back b/c a particular well known comedian was performing there at the Grill and was hoping to get a tour of PP while he was in town, so my friend thought of me and asked what they should do to maybe arrange it. So...all that to say my friend might be very open to this idea to hold a screening at his venue if schedules allow. Again thank for everything you're doing to put together this movie screening get-together. That, and you!, are much appreciated.

I'm right there with you. I just don't feel comfortable spending on anything else until I know the details of the tribute show. Considering the news that just broke, I'm even more eager to move forward with this celebration of his life.

Exactly how I feel too. I have flight and hotel arrangements, but think I'll hold off until I see how much these tickets cost, if they ever start selling!!!

Maybe they changed their minds and want to do things like Prince. Keep everything a secret. Have everyone guessing until the last minute and have a mad scramble for tickets. TRUE BLUE

Exactly what I'm thinking too. And me being as "OCD" as I am... it sucks!! I want everything in order before I start my traveling.

I live in Delaware. I have my hotel booked. The tour that people are talking about on the current booked. I am desperately waiting for ticket sales... I have called Minneapolis radio stations to see if they know when, in case they are doing give aways before hand. I have called Minneapolis local tv with no luck. No additional info on the mayors site. I am full of anxiety. Ticketmaster said they have no advance time, only what we see online. I'm sitting g at my laptop refreshing Ticketmaster search and us bank stadium constantly and a different search on Ticketmaster on my phone. I had to put on the CD of Purple Rain to calm my nerves. I wish they gave us some more information. I've been on pins and needles all month. Doing every searcH possible every day, even multiple times. I am intrigued about the movie screenings. I want to book my flight after ticket sales but want to know if I need to add a day if the movie screenings pain out. Soooo nervous. This means soooo mucheck to me. An event in a lifetime.

And if you look up u s bank concert seat stadium chart. It comes up with like 4 different configurations. So you don't know ahead of time which one it is and where you would like your seats to be. The configuration will come up when the tickets go on sale though. But the venue's around here only have 1 configuration. So that adds even more nervousness.

A good Insider tip for Ticketmaster but I have no idea if it works for a group of 10 tickets. You click on give me the best tickets available. If you don't like those tickets then searched again and if it's within the first 4 minutes maybe it is very possible that you'll get better seats. Got better seats at the 20th anniversary of purple rain in Philadelphia of the exact day and that the movie was released by doing that. I bought 6 tickets but I bought them two at a time. The last set of tickets I got were third row end Ile on the left. And at least s quarter of the stage was right in front of us. I figured this out on other concerts and then used it for the anniversary of purple rain for 20 years and it works every time but that was for 2 tickets each. This time I'm only looking for one ticket so I don't know what it's going to give me it might try to give me crap for one ticket. I think I'm going to try to do a search for one ticket on my laptop and a search for two tickets on my phone and see what comes up better. And then I could sell the second ticket here at cost because I'm sure somebody would want it. There's a lot of people that don't have all day don't like me to sit here and hurt over and over and over again. But just wanted to let you know that Ticketmaster tip for anybody out there trying to get at least two tickets. I know it works for that but you have to be right on top of when the tickets go on sale and you have to reject it right away if you don't like it and say give me again.

I felt like I could reach out and him. OMG. So so sexy, those beautiful eyes and the way he works them. And the Beautiful music he makes. No one will ever come close to his brilliance.

Sorry, I meant getting "them" quick. I only need 5. But then again, that might be difficult as well. We thought about each buying our own, but then that means we'd be spread out over the arena. So guess I'll have to buy all 5 at once.
BTW, I LOL when I read the part about you sitting there staring at your laptop refreshing every couple minutes. I could picture it in my mind. "Put on your boots Alfred...let's go!"

Also...Thanks for the tip! I want this so so bad. I'm not a die-hard get every album scream and paint my face Prince fan period but Prince has entered my life at very significant times and beautiful times. I love him as an artist I love him as a person I love his music he is just a magical person. I did the same thing with getting the tickets for the 20th anniversary for Purple Rain in Philadelphia. He was here for 3 days and tickets sold out instantly. A fourth day was added at the last minute and it was on the exact day of the release of the Purple Rain film 20 years before. However back then they gave you at least two days notice. I'm ticket sales were usually on Saturday mornings at 10 o'clock. But it's been a long time since then and I'm not kept up to date. I will be sitting here all day long. I had every intention on getting a ticket to this event if it kills me. I'm on disability so I don't work. So I have the time to sit here glued to my laptop searching the Ticketmaster website and the u.s. Bank Stadium website. And then on my phone I'm searching the Ticketmaster app in a different way. But if you know anything about Ticketmaster you cannot open Ticketmaster twice for the same account on the same device. Like I cannot open to browsers and bring up Ticketmaster sales on them. Reason being that they are both using the same router. My home wireless router. If you attempt to do that they will lock you out for 24 hours and not let you do a thing. So in order for me to be able to use my laptop and my phone my laptop is using my home Wi-Fi router. And I turned off Wi-Fi on my phone and it's using data through my Verizon account. Awful Ticketmaster rules. But it's been that way for a very very long time. So beware don't try to open your browser's twice and try it into Windows on the same computer. They will both be going through the same router and Ticketmaster will lock you out for 24 hours. I'm not sitting here and then I am listening to all things Prince. My very favorite CD is Purple Rain of course. So actually I've been playing it over and over. And this wait continues I'll be switching CDs. But again if you get ticket sales info right away and you're not happy with the five tickets on where they are I would say no and look again. And maybe again. It took me 3 tries to get those third row row tickets in Philadelphia. The others were really great too and I was able to sell them actually at a profit row tickets in Philadelphia. Yeah others were really great too and I was able to sell then because they were in so I demand. But another thing you can do is if you think the tickets you buy 45 come up okay you can buy the 5 and then you can do another search and if that searches better you can buy another 5 and then you can sell the first 5 you bought. But I have no idea how much these tickets are going to be so I don't know if you have the money. I honestly think they're going to be pretty expensive. All of Prince's concerts were. I think the last concert he did in Australia the tickets were $500 apiece. I don't think they're going to behave that bad for this but I wouldn't be surprised if their are a couple hundred dollars. And in between refreshing my browsers I'm chatting with you. So that is very nice it's keeping things from getting boring. Time goes by faster but I can't see why they're waiting this late in the day to start selling the tickets. I'm starting to think today may not be the day.

Oh and the lady at Ticketmaster said that the sales tend to start on the top of the hour. Don't know if that's true but thought I'd pass on the info.

My biggest thing is getting tickets. Almost don't care where the seat is. Unless it's behind the stage or something. I will turn off wifi! Thanks so much for that advise! Too bad the org members couldn't get a jump on these. And if they are $500 I'll be crushed ans cant go. I was hoping no more than a couple hundred. And even then that's high for me. Like my friend said, there is a limit to what we will pay because Like she said she didn't even pay that much to see "the real thing". Sometimes I forgot that he's not part of it all. Ugh. It's still so surreal. Miss him so much. "Put on your boots Alfred...let's go!"

Well I've moved me and my laptop and my phone upstairs to relax and sit in my bed and put the TV on and just hit refresh refresh refresh and then I can also delete things in mail because I get over 300 emails a day. That's another story. I think when I saw him in Philly and that probably would have been 2002 I think they were $200 to see him per person. But I'm sure all of these celebrities artist will be donating their time and performances. So that cuts costs significantly. I don't know how much the u.s. Bank Stadium will be charging but for an event like this one time in the entire world don't you think they would maybe not donate but not charge a lot. And I don't think the family would be thinking about making a profit off of this. There's an entire world who would like to come see this. It's limited to like what like 75000 people. I got scared myself when saw that the last concert in Australia was like $500 per person. But they did a tribute in Europe way back around the time he died with a competitor from Live Nation who is part of Ticketmaster who is putting this on. I can find the date of that but I can't find out how much they charged for tickets. I hope they're not expensive. That would be a Saving Grace for an awful lot of fans I don't even know if fans is the right word to use I think we are all loved ones to each other and to Prince Rogers Nelson.

You only need to turn off Wi-Fi if you're doing two separate devices like your laptop and your phone. They both can't be on your Wi-Fi one has to be Wi-Fi and the other has to be data through your phone company. If you're just using One Source like your laptop or desktop go ahead and use Wi-Fi because it will be faster

Well I have never posted on this site before. So everybody is probably sick of me today. But I have another question Since it's so late in the day it's strange that the tickets haven't gone on sale yet. Is there some significant time in Minneapolis that a bunch of stuff turned on purple lights like the u.s. Bank Stadium? Maybe they are coordinate sales with whatever time purple lights come on? Does anybody know if that even happens or when it does? I'm getting pretty desperate. Those posts about today being a BIG day were are so vague but yet so promising. But in Minneapolis time right now it's quarter after 4. It's very late for tickets to go on sale.
