Don't know what all the complaining is about. We got more than we were told we would. . Shameless Mya or something was the "hosts" name? Yeh she wasn't brilliant but she obviously had someone talking in her ear the entire time, and maybe some cue cards for the "tour" since she didn't have a clue (was actually surprised Paisely Park hasn't been redecorated in a while... . On the plus side - The acoustic song/video was AWESOME! - Those are the kind of videos P should be doing - not the ones where he stares at the camera batting his eyes. The Rita Ora song is BANGING. If Prince wants a hit song on his hands he needs to put that out ASAP. The new ballad also sounded pretty good too. The Lamar song was dope - especially in the studio. It sounded like the entire track was built on Prince samples... . The performance was really short (mainly because of NPGQ - whats the Q stand for?) . That version of PBL should have been on the album - minus the silly intro. Prince looked a bit uncomfortable when he was beside Lamar doing whats my name, but it was cool to see. . Given it was a Stream and we were told "Hey you'll hear 2 new songs" I thought the whole thing was really nice. I don't know who owns the footage but if it's Prince that could be edited down and aired on TV . I was up till almost 5am watching it and I'm glad I did. Only things that struck me were - the place looked empty (so i'm guessing he didn't ask WB to bus people in) and if you're having a party... don't put the breakdown on repeat. I don't think the average fan expected much, but somehow Prince managed to give us even less. They should have done a pre-recorded special so they could have edited the shitty interviews and cut out the intermissions. Quick tour, interviews, previews and then one song from each album and one of his oldies to close the show. 25-30 mins max. It's really not that hard, but the man's head is too far up his own ass and thinks everything he does is of "the gold standard".

. I'm actually glad it didn't devolve into a greatest hits fest. . It did make me wonder at the end though. Why it cut off... I mean it's a live stream, it's unlikely they ran out of HD space, and I can't imagine Yahoo worrying about their bandwidth. It could have just kept rolling surely?

Very cool that this was livestreamed and is still playing. I started out planning to go but didn't see an actual invitation to the public, so sat down. At first the stream was choppy, probably overloaded with views. But I waited and let it play over and over until everything was coming through smooth and clear. Even tho not there in person, it was fun and fine to have this music all night along with pictures and interviews. The music was great, and it wonderful to see Prince, 3rdeyegirl and Guests. The next best thing to being there, But when I read the lyrics to the B sides that Prince sang the clouds started rolling in. Miaybe t's off topic I know, but when Prince sings about him not being happy (tears) or not being with the person he misses (love) it makes sad. Prince needs and deserves to be with the one he loves. I'd like to thank Prince and Livenation for giving us some of what we love!!! 2Gether 4Ever

I didn't mind the female host...in fact, I felt sorry for her. She tried her best to make the telecast entertaining, but when she asked questions, everything was "secret". She made ackward conversation witch 3rdeyegirl, in a attempt to be funny...it failed hard, when Hannah got offended with being called, "Josh's wife". I agree she may have not been versed on Prince's iconic albums, but can you blame that on her? Prince has alienated his music from this generation by banning all of his music from the internet for over 20 years. Radio stations didn't play his music, because he's been at war with major labels for over 2 decades. I'm not hating, or making excuses, I'm just stating fact. She had a tough job on her hands, and the Prince camp didn't make it any easier, with the exception of Josh. He actually communicated with her, and shared music and info with her. That was the best segment of the entire broadcast..in my humble opinion.
