i think you're right, the only thing that could control some of the damage

would be a new prince album. not a 3EG featuring Prince album and not

superconductor reloaded.

i guess we won't see remasters of his 80s albums until prince manages to

actually bully and entire audience at one of his shows into leaving

As the recent magazine photoshoot shows, he can Photoshop the hell out of his visual image to appear squeaky clean & wrinkle free, but he'll never be able to fill the cracks HE has created through the treatment of his loyallest of fans.

Strange Relationship might have been written about Susannah, but it could easily apply to his treatment of fans these days

And that is EXACTLY the point of those C&D/lawsuit threats: they are based on ZILCH, but defending yourself against them would eat up all your time and money and thus you do what Prince set out to achive: you stop doing whatever you were doing. You stop publishing your fanmag, you take down your website, you stop blogging, you stop tweeting,... And all along other fans who were thinking about doing something similar to you get scared away.
