I feel sorry 4 Serpan, I can't undrstand why Prince does these things 2 his fans. just to think he expects them not be upset is beyond me. The way 3EG talk to him last night was nasty. Its like telling U're fans to disband from supportin' me & to disband from even listenin' to my music. You'd figure he would have matured all these years; but nope. He is still the same ol' Prince but with a more mild demeanor. I especially think of Serpan to me graceful & classy. Cu' If they would've dealt with the wrong fan they would've been chewed alive. Prince is 55 years old. Its a BLESSIN' your fans are STILL thinkin' bout you. I do NOT believe that was Prince chatting as 3EG. I've seen the way Prince chats from the AOL days, and he does not make that many grammatical errors, mis-use and misspell words like that, and the entire vibe of what was being typed is completely off. Prince is a fairly intelligent and thoughtful "chatter", even when he is being bossy, and would not do what 3EG did to Serpan. If he wanted to "call someone out", he would have just had his lawyers send the cease and desist. No, that particular individual acting as 3EG, was not Prince.

Regardless of all the mud-slinging going on, this is what we are talking about. 3EG only referenced that they had issues with him tweeting the livestream chats, posting photos and having a symbol on his twitter page. That's it. Not all the other crap that is being slung around.

The issues at hand were addressed the instant they were brought up, yet he was still publicly singled out and humiliated. They could and should have done this much differently.

This is what I have a problem with.

I would not be arguing the case for harrassment had Prince's team formally contacted ANYONE using solicitors/legal means IN PRIVATE (assuming the conduct was professional). I think we are in agreement that in Serpan's case, the conduct of Prince's team was antagonistic and unprofessional. In my opinion, it was almost entirely unneccessary and immaterial to any threat to Prince's apparent "artistic rights", "financial losses" or "musical vision". When it is time to call a spade a spade, it is time. The entire debacle was quite frankly beyound unsavoury.
