I wouldn't be surprised, though, if Live Nation was distributing 20ten Deluxe and the remasters amongst other things, considering that Prince now works with them on his live projects. But then again even if he came to my town I would pass, I have seen him too many times to spend the money or take the time.

I love this notion that Prince "can't get it together" to release something or to tour. Dude has toured more and released more cd's than 99% of musicians--including one of the most successful tours in history in '04 along with countless cd's of arguable quality.

I have to agree with Bart on some of his points. At this point these Welcome 2 America dates can not be considered a tour, nor was his stint this summer or even as we speak. Just a few shows here and there. Considering that the NJ shows are far from selling out, then he may think twice about taking the shows across country. As far as the remasters, I could totally see Prince sitting on them while he is alive, as long as his current ventures are making him money.

another reason to think they are telling the truth is that prince has been sharing songs with various web sites for some time. I think that if he would give a song to dr funk then he would take some time to meet with peach and black.

P has been doing shows on short notice for years. How is it that you are not aware of this?

He must have his shit together somewhat because he keeps on doing it and people keep coming out to the shows. The only thing that is going to make any show or tour a failure is when people stop coming and as we can see that is not happening with the MSG shows.

We are in a bad economy in case your head as been in the sand so I think these little mini-tours or shows are happening to prevent finacial failure does not seem so silly when you think about it.
