I don't know of a single person here who meets your definition. Not one.

and I can't think of a single fan on this site that does not dig something Prince has done live. No one has to like or love the guy to dig his music. it doesn't make anyone any less of a "true fan" to vocalize opinions.

The news here did a story on the announcement and showed Prince playing that gold Strat and wearing the same outfit from the press conference, but I somehow must have missed the information that he actually performed at the Apollo.

I only caught the tail end of the story, but Prince had that gold Strat on him at some point. The news talent were talking over the sound, so I thought it was a performance of some sort. Did Prince put that guitar on for some reason at the press conference?

I always feel better when i see Prince talking rather then reading about what he said, as the two version are never the same ......the press and some fans just don't hear the words coming out of his mouth and choose to make up stories .....

I'm a grown ass man, and I have NO desire to see that snoozefest of a lineup. I mean, I dig Cassandra and Janelle, but I don't wanna SIT through their sets while waiting to see Prince. I can't imagine children wanting to do so either. Let's face it, THE Kid lost his youth pass a long time ago.

Besides, I simply don't trust Prince anymore. When he says shit like he'll serve as MC AND "play" nightly, he's being extra vague as to cover his ass. (bogusflower.com anybody?)
