Comparisons are BS! Does anyone remember Prince's announcement of his 21 nights concert at the O2?! This was way before MJ's announcement. I can't believe these comparisons are even going on! And I am and will always be a big fan of MJ. People look for comparison photos and then fabricate the worst rumors and scenarios! Just stop! Enjoy MJ's legacy and enjoy the upcoming concerts tha Prince & company have to offer in the U.S.!

Kudos for your efforts at getting more specific information for us. But Prince's vague comments do not dampen my enthusiasm that he will be somewhere in the U.S.! If Janelle Monae is included, it will be a perfect concert! I saw her live and she is the bomb--ignore her nerves performing on BET! Clearing my schedule for December...how about you?!

That's cool. My son's friend interviewed her back in 2006, and my son filmed it. I look forward to this tour, and it's nice that Janelle Monae will be part of it. I wonder if he will have duo group J*Davey as part of this tour as well. They're another young group that have a large following, but not enough publicity.

That'smore than likely because the finishing touches are still being ironed out. However, he did say starting in December 2010, and I'm sure we'll find out sooner or later, if it's going to be a residency or a tour around the U.S. in various locations.

Me too. It is a great tag-line. And I like the font artwork (I cant believe I am saying that about post 80's Prince art)

I hope they take the opportunity to market this thing properly. I can easily see merchandise with that tag-line doing great.

If I cant make it to the concerts I think I am going to want to order at least one of the tees. The concept seems easy enough to sell, but this IS Prince. Hope he can keep the merchandise iconic and cool. I say that because he can screw up slam dunks like nobody's business when it comes to business.

Amen!! I am certainly willing to give this some more time to roll and and be clear but wow, who gives a shit about seeing any of these acts when the man has not done a US tour since 2004. You all know what it is like when he is trying to pump up some act while at a concert, he goes way out of his way to give them the stage and acts like we should be privledges to witness the great Q Tip, The Steeles, Mavis Staples and now those chicks from the BET awards. Well again, I hope I can eat my words and this is something more along the lines of a real Prince show with maybe one of them opening each night in a different city but if he is really doing this kind of full showcase then maybe it is something that will just be featured in NYC and if so, please enjoy.

I hope these shows are to showcase his new music and make us remember why he is called a musical god. Not to waste our time showcasing one hit wonders and trying to showcase his new arm candy..the girl in the promo pic..the same one he supposedly was sited having a "romantic" meal with on Martha's Vineyard. I'm so over these non talented protege's!
