Darn, I thought that was '06. 
I actually saw that one. But yeah, the pattern so far is that planned tributes are done well, so, I don't think this one for Prince will be bad. I don't know. 
I missed the one for Al Green.

BET will do Prince justice. They love Prince. Prince agreeing to come is a major honor for them. Plus Prince wouldn't be apart of a tribute for him If it isn't fantastic. I'm sure he will let that be known. BET does know how to throw good tributes. Hopefully I can witness this in person [Edited 6/15/10 16:06pm]  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! Because the Jacksons aren't big fans of Prince's and vice versa.
When playing a Word Association game during a radio interview he when Michael Jackson was brought up he said "genuis". When Janet was brought up he said "Genius' sister".

She only does covers of songs from older artist (Joni Mitchell) or family (Randy). That's it
But it would be amazing if she was a part of the tribute. She always said she's a big fan of his work and that they were going to duet on the Control album. Janet and Jam & Lewis should be a part of this. Its only right. | |
