i think no one os actually hating, but continual disappointment with promise after promise,people get tired of it. and they react accordingly.I know non of it is Prince signing a contract with his fans, but why is it so many other artists don't promise stuff only to not follow up. I'd rather have NO news, no promises ...and then get a good set of music pop out of no where. That is what so many people "gripe" as you put it. I personally have ducked and dodged all that by not participating in laying out $$ for things I have a pretty good idea won't be what I want. but it is not fair that Prince disrespects his fans quite a bit of the time either. It's a two way street. You can't say "Prince owes you nothing" then tell fans that they have no right to bitch. |
