Exciting, but...

1 album will be Lotus Flower - which will be a new Prince album.

Another will be Bria's album, which honestly, isn't a Prince album to me. Yeah, he may be the writer of the music or the guy behind the instruments, but I just can't get into the protege stuff. Never have been able to. If he's not doing the majority of the singing, i'm pretty ho-hum on it.

The MPLSound thing...I dunno. Someone on this forum posted a link to something on another website, that had an album called MPLSound by a group called ENS. It was primarily musical, was from 2006, and while it definitely had a Prince vibe and feel to it, I wasn't sold on it's legitimacy. Now we see that MPLSound is in fact Prince, but that being said, I wasn't a fan of the other stuff I heard. So if that thing from 2006 is in fact the album we get, then I'll be pretty 'meh' about the whole deal.

For me, I'm just excited about the Lotus Flower thing. Other than that, it'll be great if he tours again.

I'm happier than a pig in slop right now!!!!! Not 1, not 2 but 3 new albums!!! My God, I don't know what to do about this! What a way to end 2008 and start 2009!!! He MUST tour with these CD's for real! I'm going to be front row and center for all the shows in NYC, you watch! Hell. I'll go to NJ too!!!

The Tamar dates had some rip-roaring guitar, and its nice to hear that reference as an inspiration for some recorded work.

Lotus Flower, or Lotus is also a Live Santana double album from the 70's!

I believed it when I see it too.

I am being neutral of this. I know P is going to release something in '09 but three albums? We shall see.

I hope he have some sucess of his new distributionship with some major retailer and as much P have some weaknesses that I dislike he still amazing me everytime of finding innovative ways to get his music heard.
