Will the name "PRINCE" be above the picture on the cd cover as in the advert in the newspaper? Ppl need 2 know its a Prince album!

I think he has one of those studfinders in the hidden hand, next to the wall. The gloryhole, or lack thereof has either Musiq on the other side or D'Angelo.

I think he should do a limited edition run with a lenticular cover. Lenticular is highly advanced these days. Used to be there were only a few frames and you walk by and Jesus' eyes would open or close. Or you would find them in Cracker Jacks and they would have these 3d images on them.

Now, you can get like a mini movie on them..and they do 'em for CD's (Maybe albums too). Prince can do his back thing and he can also turn around...this way everyone will be happy.

And think of the hours of fun you can have with that. Also...you can't illegally download lenticular. They're not gonna bootleg it either.

In the months leading up to this reveal I kept trying to imagine what the cover of an album titled "3121" might look like. This is not at all what I pictured, but I have to say that I really like it. Looks like the cover of a potential classic.

GoldenGlove, it appears that the revised version of the "3121" cover supplied by Tangerine17, with the black border on all sides, has not been confirmed. In fact, when Tangerine17 posted this image at Housequake.com the following exchange took place:

BorisFishpaw: "I'm still convinced the 3121 cover will just be the original image, without any border or extra type (and I think it looks better that way).

We already know it's going to be released as a digipack, and the image is EXACTLY the right dimensions for this as it stands. Adding the border and type makes it the wrong dimensions for a CD (digipack or jewel case).

I think the image with the border and 'Prince' logo is for posters, ads and other promo material, but not the CD itself."

Tangerine17 replied: "you are probably right but this IS the one that shows up as the cover in the Universal system. I'll know when I see a printed sample next week or so."

Sounds like we'll just have to wait and wonder for now.

When we said that is the official CD cover 4 3121, we meant it

The image u found somewhere is just 4 retail displays when the CD is in stores - posters, lightboxes, countertop stands, that type of thing. U'll be able 2 find it at Tower, Best Buy, places like that.

We can guarantee there is no black border around the image on the cover of the CD and no "PRINCE" over it.
