SNL "Fury" Screw Up? Anyone else notice the lyric change in the studio "Fury" from the SNL version during the "will this song have a happy ending" part?
SNL: Will this song have a happy ending? Is this heart in need of mending? Will this song have a happy ending? Only the woman knows Only she knows I always thought the SNL version seemed awkward at that point...perhaps Prince just forgot the line? Not like him, but understandable...he was in the middle of switching board pedals and such. The studio lyrics flow much better... Peace. | |

I noticed that a line in the SNL version of BLB is different from the studio version.
SNL version: "then you whispered to me girl the words I so now understand, oh." Studio version: "cause when you whispered in my ear the words I so now understand, oh" I don't know if that was a screw up or intentional. Prince is always messing up lyrics in live versions. He covers it up very well though. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |

I haven't heard it either. I'm waiting for the actual release date. I also didn't find out the sex of our two kids until they were born. I like good surprises. | |
