it's a cool cover, but i was hoping they would stay with the
theme of the 3121 party pictures posted at npgmc since this whole project kinda took off. the one with the guitar on the floor, or the drink on top of the 3121 napkins. i'm still hoping those will be used for the inside artwork.. the inside artwork to Musicology was actually quite nice but the cover was just a bowl of macaroni n cheese. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

The picture itself is a nice picture,..
But that huge 3121 in that awful font on his back is cheap-looking. Combined they make a artistic picture look cheesy. Photoshop that 3121 off, and presto! a nice cover! | |

Balls,when Joe Public is walking into the record store to buy a new CD do you seriously think that THIS will grab his attention!. First and foremost the price sticker will be slapped on his head or indeed over the title and secondly it comes across as a negative image i.e. dark, facing the wall etc. To be honest i only want the music on my IPOD but in the wider context of selling the CD to a wider audience i really don't think this does him any favours. At least with musicology we could see his face!. Do you remember that stunning, gothic B&W picture that came out during the Chaos and Disorder promos where he looked like he was at deaths door with really dark make up?. Now THAT was a statement, look at the SOTT cover, Lovesexy cover, Dirty Mind etc. Have shown the 3121 cover to some neutrals and they have just looked puzzled and used the word Crap to describe it! | |
