Prince's latest crusade is about tickets being re-sold...which is unfortunate as most members of the general public now act as touts for high paying gigs...and we also have to acknowledge that many of his fans have bought in bulk to distribute to other Prince fans a lot of the time!!!! No issue with that btw. How can they enforce this across 2.5k people is a mystery to me, and what will then happen to all of the tickets....will the venue be half empty. I feel like I'm being penalised for trying to get in...I live hundreds of miles away, I can't Q up and don't know anybody who will be Qing up. Have just spoken to Seatwave who say they sympathise, and that some people have already started accepting refunds. I don't care about the money, I only care about getting in to the show...am really sad about the whole scenario. Can anyone help / suggest anything? T Like you am a lifelong fan and am on wY to academy now to queue. I spoke to stub hub an hour ago. They said they were aware of the problem and guaranteed I would get in with their ticket, and if not, they would refund. My advice to you if questioned is say you bought ticket from stub hub and they confirmed they had spoken to venue today and guaranteed entry. Best of luck | |

If they do try to turn you away, dont accept it and just walk away. Band together with others, complain, cause a fuss, make a scene, demand you go in. They might think its easy to turn individuals away, but when theres a big group outside and its NOT moving then something will be done!! My advice is to those who bought the ticket through a third party is to chance it! The organisers messed up by issuing these terms after the sale so I think legally it does not hold up! I've been to gigs before where it is supposed to be checked and when it got busy, they didn't bother checking.
