Although I don't think he is a legend "now." I think he has what it takes musically to possibly be considered one down the line. He has two classics under his belt One of which that innovated the Neo Soul movement in the mid 90's. His new album will probably be a classic as well, its BRILLIANT! I am soooo proud of him. Everyone doubted him for years but he shitted on everybody. I think it is important to appreciate real talent while we still have it on earth and D is the REAL! | |

Prince is a legend. Sly is a legend. D'Angelo is not. He's wasting his best years being a junkie. He could be a legend if he wanted it but that's highly unlikely. Another 10 - 15 years will go by before he releases another album. In some recent pictures D'Angelo looks stoned then he has the nerve to criticize Sly for being stoned on TV shows. I just hope he has enough friends and family around to intervene | |
