The top achievers in the touring world will be honored at the 10th Annual Billboard Touring Awards, hosted by Gary Dell'Abate, aka Baba Booey, executive producer of the Howard Stern Show, and set for Nov. 14 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York.

Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, One Direction, Luke Bryan, P!nk, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, and the Rolling Stones are among the finalists for the awards, which are primarily based on box office numbers reported to Billboard Boxscore from Oct. 1, 2012 through Sept. 30, 2013.


...Finalists for the Breakthrough Award, which honors an artist in their first decade of headlining who cracked the top ranks of top tours for the first time, are Bruno Mars, Luke Bryan, and One Direction.

Rapper B.o.B hopes to hit the stage for Super Bowl halftime show with Bruno Mars

Mars and the rapper collaborated on the 2010 No. 1 hit, “Nothin’ On You.” The song was nominated for multiple Grammy Awards and helped Mars launch his successful solo career, which includes two platinum albums and 10 Top 5 hits.

B.o.B said in an interview Wednesday he and Mars came up the music ranks together, performing in studio before the singer became a pop star.

Super Bowl XLVIII will take place Feb. 2 in East Rutherford, N.J.

B.o.B will release his third album, “Underground Luxury,” on Dec. 17.

Macklemore, Bruno Mars + More Design Converse for Charity

Chart-topping superstars Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Bruno Mars, Trey Songz and others have joined forces with Converse to customize the iconic all-white Chuck Taylor sneakers for charity. The newly designed kicks are now up for auction on eBay.

The sneakers were customized as part of the In Their Shoes initiative, which raises money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The timing is perfect considering that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. In addition, Converse is also celebrating the 90th anniversary of its All-Star collection. So it’s a win-win situation for everyone involved.

Among the big-names contributing their original designs to the initiative are the Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Skrillex and Charli XCX.

These one-of-kind kicks are up for auction from until Oct. 29. The highest bidder will get to cop the coolest shoes on earth designed by their favorite artist.

A review of Bruno's show in Paris (Oct 14)

"Minutes after minutes, Bruno Mars alternates the atmospheres, a way of blowing hot and cold on a public who’s only asking for it. Mars becomes an atomic bomb before calming the crowd with a slowing pace. He shows that he is not only a good writer, sexy and talented, but he’s is also an incredible singer who knows how to tame the drums. Girls start crying and our heartbreaker leaves the stage, catching the sobbing girls’ hands while the rest of the crowd keep screaming the lyrics with enthusiasm. Mars is satisfied, the fans are way more into it that he expected. Finally, he makes everyone go wild under golden confettis. Everyone is convinced, the girls don’t think : “What a smile!” anymore but “What a show."

Bruno Mars was in Paris on Monday night for a concert full of surprises.

Much Ado and waiting midinettes Bruno Mars last night in Paris. After far too long a first part of Mayer Hawthorne, the impatient crowd. At 21h, the room plunged into the dark, animal music starts, Bruno Mars, dressed in a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up and black pants, comes into play. Easy start on a "Moonshine" softly, before moving on "Natalie" and choreography which everyone tries pace. Then a mirror ball down, vintage screens are placed at the bottom of the scene, the 80 invaded the scene, "Treasure" sounds and awakens the capital.

As and when the show, Bruno Mars will alternate moods, a way to blow hot and cold on a public that does not require it. Mars turns into atomic bomb when he played "Show me" and "Our first time" being very explicit in how to move. It is far from holiness, and yet the chime sounds on "Marry You" and the crowd, who knows by heart, chanting the "just say yeah yeah" as if to say she already loves, when some just want to see him naked. He announced, in a spirit of fairness, the title that follows is one of his favorite, welcome to the fifties, "If I Knew" is launched, accompanied by her musicians in the perfect voice. Bercy is rocked by emotion, before exploding on "Runaway" that girls sing out loud. And when Bruno sings "so many young bunnies That I'd like to Pursue", one wonders if they all knew whereof he speaks ... But whatever.

A BIG SURPRISE

The showman grabs a megaphone "I just wanna work you", while some take off their shirt when Bruno wipes the sweat dripping from his forehead. Bercy under intense bursts padded and sensual warmth. To complete the few resistant, Mars performs "The Lazy Song", rare on the tour, already played in London a few days earlier. "If I was your man" brings a semblance of calm in the room, Bruno enjoying to show that it is also a great singer, an impeccable accuracy.The girls pull out tissues. Needless to return to the massacre inflicted "Grenade", the Frenchies give him the same welcome that the British, it is easy to read the questions and disappointment on the faces of the musicians. Exclusive Clip: Bruno Mars’s Late Mother Appears on ‘The LYLAS’

On June 1 of this year, Bruno Mars's beloved mother, Bernadette Hernandez, died tragically and unexpectedly at age 55 from a brain aneurysm. Bernadette was always supportive of all six of her children's dreams, and that is apparent in the above clip from "The LYLAS," a new WE tv docu-series about a girl group by the same name comprising Bruno's four sisters.

In the clip exclusively obtained by Yahoo Music, Jaime, Tiara, Tahiti, and Presley (aka the LYLAS) prepare to leave their native Hawaii for Hollywood, and they get a poolside pep talk from Bernadette, who encourages them to adopt their famous brother's dogged work ethic.

"Bruno always always rehearsing," Bernadette tells the girls. "He wanted to do that. I didn't push him to do anything; he did it himself. He would come out of the room and all of a sudden, wow, he had a new number for me. He was just a natural, wanting it."

While the scene was originally meant to be light-hearted in feel, with the Hernandez ladies joking around and noshing on their mother's cooking, it now makes for truly bittersweet viewing, in light of Bernadette's passing.
