I just randomly came across a year old article about Herb Ritts and read that when Michael saw this cover of Rolling Stone he called Ritts and asked him if he was trying to ruin his career lol. I don't know if it's true but if he didn't like this picture he's crazy...this is one of my favorite pics of Michael! Truly iconic!!!

Really. lol I also love this picture.

how do fans keep up with the trial since it is not televised, will reporters be aloud into the courtroom to give people a run down, or how exactly does that work, i have never kept up with a trial that wasnt televised.

First of all, there are court transcripts, legally available to anyone who pays for it and secondly, just because cameras are not allowed doesn't mean that no one on is allowed to go into the actual hearings. Anyone can go in there, there is a section for media and a section for public. If demand is too high, public seats are given out in a lottery system.

So some Daft Punk fans feel that had Michael still been around he would've probably been the logical choice that Daft Punk would've chosen to do what Pharell ultimately did here:

I feel like Latoya is behind it. Talking about a normal life, wanting a "normal" job and then going to a media magazine like that, whatever. The Jacksons would also talk about what they wanted to be when growing up back in the 70's, it's good publicity for what acting they are going to be forced to do in entertainment.

Having said that, I wonder if the new pictures from the current photoshoot will be used in this issues.

BTW and I don't know what I was expecting but LaToya's reality show was AWFUL!

I particularily loved the part where she tried to represent the saner member of the family. Trying to gain public sympathy much?

What I find sad is, she gives these people such a nice exclusive and it wasn't even a day later, they then turn around and ran yestrday's NY Post trash from that assclown Stacy Brown that trashes the kids paternity. And also she tweeted that her saying she wanted to be a heart surgeon wasn't supposed to be printed.

Yes, I think so too! This song would have been so amazing, had MJ sung vocals on it. Nile Rodgers, MJ & Daft Punk sounds like a hit song to me or at least a great song! It's a good song regardless and I love Pharell & Nile wink cool

Yes, they looked together very organically despite serious differences in age (MJ 22 and Diana 36).

A shame their relationship didn't work, but then again at the time the cougar thing wasn't really popular. It might have worked had it been another era, like it did for Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore lol

huh? lol Michael never proposed to Diana Ross..

I'm actually glad they remained friends. It makes their relationship that much special. They just look so beautiful together but them as an actual couple would've only worked in one's fantasy land. Also considering how big of a control freak Michael sometimes could be behind close doors it would've never worked with Diana the Diva Ross lol. Obviously they adored each other and I'm happy Michael had a female friend whom he could trust but I could never picture him with an older woman.

I think Brooke Shields should've accepted his proposal but she probably would've had to retire from Hollywood to make that marriage work lol!

Mj Loved Diana & would have married her in a heartbeat if she accepted. Imagine the kids they could have conceived together! With Diana's big eyes & Mj's endless talent the kids would have been prodigies of their parents.. It would have been a marriage matched in heaven. But Diana was so full of herself back then to accept a man that would get more attention than she. She couldn't bare the constant competition in hair make up & clothing. biggrin

I didnt even know there was gonna be an event like this going on...

TITO JACKSON
Accused of Blowing Off
200 Kids

EXCLUSIVE
0418-tito-jackson-this-is-it
Tito Jackson crushed the hopes and dreams of 200 Detroit kids, and along the way pocketed thousands of dollars for himself ... so claims a talent show promoter.

Darrell Strickland -- the promoter who organized "Tito Jackson's 'THIS IS IT!' Talent Search" -- tells TMZ he paid Tito $3,500 to judge the competition. The event was set for last weekend but Tito was a no-show ... no explanation, no nothing.

Strickland tells us, “Over 200 kids were there expecting to see Tito and were all upset about him not being there. We really promoted this event ... And now that he didn’t show up, I want my money back.”

We tried contacting Tito's people multiple times, but we've heard nothing back.

The promoter says he plans to sue if Tito doesn't ante up. In other words, this is it.

Michael Jackson - T.J. Jackson granted 9k a month for co-guardianship

19 April 2013

T.J. Jackson granted 9k a month for co-guardianship

T.J. Jackson has been granted $9,000 a month to look after Michael Jackson's children.

Executors for the late King of Pop's estate requested in February that a judge provide his nephew - who was granted co-guardianship of the late singer's three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, along with their grandmother Katherine Jackson in July 2012 - a reasonable monthly income to provide care for the famous offspring and it has now been granted.

In a legal declaration obtained by E! News, Katherine, 82, stated ''on average T.J. spends between 60-80 hours per week on matters relating to his role as co-guardian of the children.

''The amount of time each week he dedicates to his co-guardianship duties, is an impediment to T.J. pursuing his own career and other income generating activities.''

The former 3T singer, whose father is Michael's brother Tito, has been sharing custody of the 'Thriller' star's kids - Prince, Paris, and Blanket - with Katherine since July when the family matriarch allegedly went missing and hadn't been in contact with her grandchildren for days.

The change in guardianship came amidst a messy family dispute in which five of Michael's siblings - Janet, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie and Tito Jackson - claimed Katherine was being misled by the executors of the estate and ill-advised by her manager and lawyer.

I think he should get more than that. That is a huge responsibility...But good they are compensating him for helping Janet's Mother Katherine...

If lawyers cant find unbiased prospective jurors for this trial, will that mean the trial wont be able to go forward? pray

Prospective jurors voice anti-Jackson opinions

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Lawyers in the wrongful death lawsuit brought by Michael Jackson's mother began using challenges to reject prospective jurors Friday but were confronted with a new set of panelists who had strong opinions critical of the superstar singer.

The search was to continue Monday for jurors who could be impartial toward Jackson and AEG, the company that promoted Jackson's ill-fated "This is It" concert.

No sooner had the attorneys excused two panelists for bias and used five of their 16 peremptory challenges to remove others without stating a cause than they were confronted with new problems.

One man said he had formed a strong opinion that Jackson was responsible for his own death.

"He was a weird person, too eccentric," he said when asked his opinion of Jackson as a person.

The jury candidate, an attorney, said he had heard that Jackson took strong narcotics to sleep.

"So you had a strong opinion that Michael Jackson caused his own death by taking strong narcotics?" asked Mrs. Jackson's attorney, Brian Panish.

"Yes," said the man. "...That's my opinion, not the facts, based on what I heard." He said he learned most of what he knew about the case from the Internet.

"I don't think I could be impartial," he said.

Another prospective juror who is the son of a doctor said he had a strong bias against Jackson and thought that Dr. Conrad Murray was not at fault in the superstar's death. He said he knew that Murray had been convicted of involuntary manslaughter for giving Jackson an overdose of the anesthetic propofol.

"I don't believe Dr. Murray did anything wrong," said the man. "People take prescription drugs on their own. There may be some responsibility by Michael Jackson himself."

The man said he is also biased against people who seek large monetary awards in lawsuits involving doctors. He said his late father was an orthopedic surgeon and told him about the pitfalls of malpractice claims against physicians.

Mrs. Jackson's lawsuit claims AEG hired Dr. Conrad Murray as Jackson's physician without checking his credentials. Murray was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of the superstar.

Attorneys said outside court that the jury selection process could stretch through next week.
