See this is why it will definitely be a political issue.
It would be nice if the LGBT community came out in force and supported this album but I have no faith in the community. I mean they're so far up Katy Perry and Demi Lavato's asses that I doubt they'd even listen to a hip hop influenced album.
I hope people were going to buy his album before he came out ....just saying
I guess it's a damn if you damn if you don't moment. He would've still got decent sales if he didn't say anything. His letter didn't even sound like he was "coming out", more like "okay, this is what happened a few years ago that motivated me to do the albums I did."
I don't know who Mr. Ocean is but good for him. No one should feel ashamed, fear rejection nor isolation because of who they love. People should be able to live their lives on their terms, as long as others aren't being harmed.

Not much luck of that happening. I read that after every studio session he has all the sessions backed up on hard drives he takes home then has the machines the drives were taken from wiped.

Very gifted & brave brotha. This is a profound thing he has done..Especially since there were no rumors about him whatsoever. Besides a blind item that I refused to post last week.
