The feel of her funeral was real to me, like a family funeral that I'd attend, sans all of the superstars. BeBe Winan's voice is beautiful. R.I.P Whitney.

I too happened to watch this, and it was simply beatiful. What I wanna know is other than the celeb speakers, who were the other folks, are they known in church community? I wouldn't know, as I'm not in USA and unfamiliar with this type of thing. The pastor simply was the bomb in the end. He sounded better than Stewie Wonder to my ears. smile

Was one of the speakers Whitney's sister? I think Kevin had a crush on Whitney back then. smile

Oh, and Bobby was definetely not there, this is such a disgrave is he really was invited out.

Jesse's talking to CNN right now talking about the Bobby incident... confused He said that Bobby sat on the front row with his daughter but moments later was told that his extra entourage couldn't be accommodated because the row was reserved for family and he was asked to leave. Jesse said he tried to get him to stay but wasn't successful. Doesn't appear that Bobby was trying to start anything or that he was being difficult. When he was asked to leave, he complied. confused

Kim Burrell and the Winans family are big in American gospel.

That's was Whitney's sister in law.

The song was not played in the church, it was only via TV that we could hear it.

Hmm could've sworn I heard the song reflect off a speaker sound from inside the church.

Kim? Isn't this the same lady that Whitney sang a song together on stage 2 days before she died?

The Winans family was not the pastor in the end, was it?

Why did the other pastor not finish this, if he was the pastor of the church? Sorry, I'm just trying to make sense of this gospel black church ceremony. wink

No, I am pretty sure it was not played in the church, at least not on high volume, it would have been very cheesy anyway.

I liked what her bodyguard had to say.

He stated that she was in the hotel room listening to Fred...Resting up and getting ready to perform that night...Cissy & Dionne talked to her and said she sound sober and fine...

They need to rush on the toxicology results because we need to know exactly what happened to Whitney...There's a strange cloud over her death and that needs to be put to rest...

Well what he tweeted and what he just said live contradicts each other....

I'd be inclined to believe what he said live on camera rather than what someone else is reporting that he supposedly tweeted.

As I said it woulda been cheesy if they had played it in church, on tv it is fine. For lotta people in there her music career mighta been secondary to her personality, nobody wanted to sing one of her songs, guess why?

Anyway, this is my opinion!
