JET always left me squeamish, you happily read things about marriage advice or something, then go to the next page and they talk about a murder, it's like "uh okay..."

I assumed people rightfully complain cuz its not like that now(or even close). They put me through too much as a youth, back in the day lol.

Yeah people used to openly complain about EBONY and JET, sometimes they complied. lol

I think they said the photo of her lying in bed after she was found dead was the one they were talking about. Not the actual one with her laying in the coffin.

The fake pic they are talking about is the one where a actress was hired to recreate the bathroom pic of a dead Whitney on the floor...

Whitney’s Family Trying to Sell Her Funeral Footage?

It sounds like a sick joke, right? Who in the world would want to sell their beloved family members funeral footage for monetary gain? Why would they do such a thing? Well, according to Whitney’s family — who are, indeed, shopping for buyers for the funeral video — they’re doing it for Bobbi Kristina.

Yes, everyone was allowed to see the footage of Whitney’s ‘home going.’ Associated Press provided the live feed of the service to the media outlets, but everyone was required to pull the video from the air twenty-four hours after the end of the funeral.

The reason for that is now clear. TMZ reported, ‘A rep for the family confirms the family has now “agreed to license footage to several media outlets.” The rep says the family is charging “customary fees” to … ” help maximize the estate for the benefit of Bobbi Kristina.”‘

I think this photo will satisfy a lot of people's curiosity. Whether we want to admit it or not, many people were curious as to how she looked.

I was curious... I searched for it. She truly looked beautiful and "at rest".

I have no problem with death/coffin photos. It was a common practice at one point to photograph the dead at their funeral, etc...

What bothers me though is that it appears this situation stems from a lack of respect. If the family WANTED to publicly show her in an open casket they would have done so. Someone went against the family's wishes and sold it instead.

The one good thing that might come from it is to give certain greiving fans some "closure"...

^ I do.

General statement: Orgers, please don't post any images of her body on this thread. It's upsetting to me and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. I don't want to click on this sticky to type something and be forced to see her. Thank you.

I remember being on TMZ and as soon as the page loaded they had MJ's body on there. It was just too much.

I usually don't want to see stuff like that either. But Whitney's death was so shocking & unexpected. I needed closure. I had to see her for the last time. She really just look like she's sleeping & @ peace...

Yes I just looked, and think she is looking more pale than usual, understandably. I have no problem lookin at this, but it shouldn't have made available to begin with..

Yeah, it just looks normal. Death people are still people, ya know wink As I said she just looks a bit pale (lighter) and sleeping, that's all. I don't think they buried her with all that jewellery though, do people still do stuff like that these days? I mean it's not the Old Ancient times, is it? lol

IDK lol! Good question. I'm no expert on that I dodge funerals and all pics from them. Was just wondering, who's watching the jewels and if you take it off who do you give it to/who wears it afterwards?!

Well that's stupid, jewels are for decoration to make her look good, it's the last impression people will have of her, so it is important On the inner side of the coffin i see music tabs, which is again for decorational purposes. The jewellery will be auctioned I suppose, it'd better than to remain in the coffin and be buried. I was just puzzled cause the headline in the newspaper says otherwise.

I don't believe that she was buried with those jewels even if that was the family's true intentions (and I highly doubt this).
Usually the valuables are given to the family after the service. So in Whitney's case after her private family viewing and BEFORE the funeral since her casket was not opened during the service.

I am pretty sure that Cissy and family knows that if you attempt to bury your loved one with valuables, those precious keepsakes will end up in the pocket of some wino gravedigger. Sorry but that is the facts. So don't bury your family in jewels. If grandma has an expensive wedding set have the nice set for the service but before closing the casket, replace with an inexpensive simple gold band.

Wino gravedigger? I would highly doubt it depending on where the grave is, and usually people don't dig out graves, yeah all that expensive decorations..i don't understand what all this is for..i think people should be kept natural...death is part of life and got to be respected as it is..no reason to beautify someone who is death...with all that extreme make up! Just keep it simple as it is I'd say!

The funeral director just made a statement denying accusations that they leaked Whitney's coffin photo to the Enquirer.
