Wow! This album is amazing! Edward sounds the best since 1984. Seriously. The bass sounds like it should have on the classic six pack! The music sounds like a trip back to the future!! Back in the late 70's when I was trying to play the guitar, it was Eddie that lit a fire in my desire to play before Prince or anyone else came into the picture. Once I listened to him play, it felt like the first time I'd heard a guitar.

This is what I would've expected Van Halen to sound like in 1985 and in 2012. strange feeling, but it feels good! I play the cd my little ones love it. It's funny, because I was just 16 the first and last time I went to see Van Halen, until 2007. Now my babies are jamming to their new music with me. Life is good. God is great!

After getting into the new album i thought fuck it VHIII can't be that bad and gave it another spin, up to about track 5 or 6 i thought you know this isn't that bad but the last 25 mins is just drivel, back in the cd rack it went not to return for a long time. Also with all the Van Halen i've been listening to it made me delve into other stuff EVH has done and i downloaded the movie he was executive producer for and did a couple of tracks for the score will check out later.

Bullshit! Sammy is not Van Halen, they are Van Hagar! They made the music more pop, even more dumbed down. The boogie punk element went away. Dave could at least play black, while Sammy is the whitest fucker there is. Gary is just a piece of talentless shit.

Lord, you have some weird personal issues 2freaky

There's just something off about the album. It sounds like Van Halen, but the satisfaction you get from a classic VH disk just isn't jelling. It makes the ear happy, but the soul is somewhat lacking. It's an improvement over Prince's latest attempts, but it aint classic.

Just glad to see Dave gettin paid. Don't piss it all away this time, Diamond bud.

Ill say one thing..it sure made me drive faster.

This ish is intense. I felt it needed some slowed down numbers..its like they are playing to kill. And Im going tomention hagar (dont like too fuckin bad) but Eddie couldnt have done this record this way if Hagar was back with them. Not saying its a good or bad thing but its a style thing so calm the fuck down. I think Roth was on some "this is what's been missin..."

oh and thank god for Stay Frosty...thats some old school shit right there

could it have used some of hagars pop? Yes

but its basically a straight ahead rock album, no apologies..I think thats what they were going for..well they got it. Eat em and smile yall.
