Oh, if I had gotten lucky with someone else that night, I wouldn't have been over there. He was one of my two spare tires at the time. What I considered my spare tires were guys that I would stop by and see on my way home at the end of the night if I didn't get lucky with a stranger after a night of clubbing. My other spare tire was a much older guy than me and his daughter was home from college on spring break so he was out of the question. It was either go by this guy's house or go home and jack off. After hearing some of that music he played, a many a night I wished I had just gone home and jacked off. evillol

Another first by her:

Whitney Houston makes MORE HISTORY!
Quote:
Whitney Houston, whose 1985 debut album sold eight million copies to become the best-selling debut album by a solo artist, made more pop music history this week when her follow-up album, "Whitney," became the first solo record by a woman to enter Billboard's album chart at No. 1. At the same time, the first single from the album, "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)," also climbed to the top of Billboard's singles chart to shatter another record, by making the 23-year-old singer the first woman to have had four consecutive No. 1 pop hits.

Besides "Whitney," only four other albums have entered Billboard's album chart at No. 1: Elton John's "Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy" and "Rock of the Westies" (both 1975), Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" (1976) and "Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Live- 1975-85" (1986).

I asked why Whitney Houston wasn't mentioned with Madonna, Prince and MJ. Not Why MJ wasn't

mentioned with Prince, Madonna and Whitney. We all know Michael collected 8 Grammys in one night.

Nobody cares about Awards and crap. It's about the music.

gotcha but I didn't expect that on a Prince bbs where most of the people who post at least to me are music snobs re that someone has to either influece style or play an instrument to matter in the music world!

But you are right, there are alot of 'undercover' Nippy fans. Thats why she has been so successful and can continue to sell 30yrs into a career.lol lol lol

If I nobody has answered the question after two weeks, it's pointless for it to be here. And I

come to it because it's my thread. No matter if I like it or not.

"Sparkle" would be great, but what role would she play if she were to actually take part in the movie as an actress I wonder? She is a bit old to play one of the sisters. She would have been perfect for it about 15-20 years ago though.

And yes I did know that Whitney was involved with the "Princess Diaries" movies. Smart business move. Whitney aint no dummy that's for sure! lol

About Whitney's modeling career, it seems to be overlooked. I often forget she was a model but I really think her looks are underrated. She was SO beautiful when she was younger, she still is, but she was so pretty when she was younger. I remember being like 8 or 9 years old and telling my Mom I wanted teeth like Whitney Houston lmao. Her teeth are perfect.

Yes, her many varied careers are oftentimes overlooked or not known. A sampling of some of the comments in this very thread is indicative of that as well as many h ere still thinking she sings pop/ac tunes. Interesting that so many like to give opinions of her and are clueless about her Grammy winning cd, 'My love is your love' or her gospel cd'The Preacher's wife' sndtrack.

Sparkle

Yes, she's too old to play any of the sisters. Perhaps the mom or a part created. She owned the rights to the movie via her BrownHouse Production but I'm hearing the script may be reworked.
