And did She cut her hair Again? Or is it just me?

I like the Larry King Look Better

This look kinda makes her look old

LOVED LOVED the LKL hair. That second pic looks like how I was wearing my hair when I was in college... in 1995. It looks incredibly dated. Her hairstyle on LKL was fresh and edgy. Looks like it may be the same cut, just styled differently?

Well, we got a Janet/MJ duet, but I would love to see Janet do something with Prince. Supposedly Jimmy and Terry wanted Prince to do the first verse on "Love Will Never Do (Without You)", and P has covered "What Have You Done for Me Lately" in concert. And then of course, there was that brief moment in time where they both had the same hairstyle... lol

lol a duet would be cool

Yeah, But I guess If Michael already said it, why does it matter that other people dont believe it lol . I guess to Them it's like saying "Latoya Influenced Janet "lol

That's nice of Michael to reveal - But he is still the idiot who claimed Janet "stole" the idea of RN from him. Even if she did - what kind of a brother would say that and discredit her most accomplished work? Especially when she gets a lot of flak from MJ fans saying she copies him.

Even if people on this site recognise Janet's influence, the point that is being highlighted is that the average Joe on the street doesn’t.

He didn't say she stole it. He said they would think alike and she was inspired by Captain EO and did Rhythm Nation and asked him if it was okay to use elements from EO

I may be on the few that would prefer if they NOT work together lol I have a feeling P would take it and take full control, and make it HIS song instead of making it THEIRS

can someone post the singles and peak chart positions for songs from the Velvet Rope.

here's my attempt

Got Til It's Gone (top 10 R & B?)

Together Again (#1 Dance and Pop)

I Get Lonely (#1 R & B)

Go Deep (top 10 R & B & Pop?)

You (top 20 pop & R & B?)

Every Time (top 20 pop?)

not sure if this is the correct order, but i'm only guessing as to how they did. i do know Together Again hit #1

These are new to me, too. Yes, she looks great here. I also love her look during "janet" era and she looked absolutely stunning in "Love Will Never Do Without You" video.

yeah I did MJ for most of the time but even if I did JJ, I ALWAYS got MJ, no one can stop that even if I don't haha I used to wear fedoras but I don't as much now, I like caps like Damita Jo style

And yeah I love that key and those hoops, wore hoops for the longest time but stopped. My cousin was just an obnoxious girl who couldn't get away with styles like that and felt she had to look "proper" all the time instead of fun.

These would be my favourites. I´ve never liked crazy, eccentric looks. I think she's the most beautiful when natural and feminine.

Feb. 22, 2011 from New York Post.com:

New video from Janet Jack...a MUST-see

I'm gonna go ahead and get this out now, so people can start emailing me with fits of rage -- Janet Jackson concerts are one, if not the only, you-better-not-miss-this concerts in the world.

Period.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good Robyn show, I love me a good Britney Spears set and I am a major fan every time Vampire Weekend, Miike Snow or Friendly Fires come to town. But the one gigantic, brilliant, on-point show that I will never miss is a Janet show.

To prove my point to the fullest, check out this newly posted clip below of Janet in Hong Kong performing "Doesn't Really Matter" from one of the first stops on her "Number Ones: Up Close & Personal" world tour.

Side note: Janet is 44 years old people ... frikin' brilliant!
