There's like three or four different versions of where Janet was on June 25th, we still don't know for sure where she was
what's up with that? "we make our heroes in America only to destroy them"

I don't know if this has been posted before. But I think it's rather important news. Jordie Chandler's father commits suicide!
http://www.eonline.com/ub...topstories Father of Michael Jackson Molestation Accuser Commits Suicide Today 7:25 AM PST by JOSH GROSSBERG AP Photo/Reed Saxon The man whose son derailed Michael Jackson's career with blockbuster accusations of molestation is dead of an apparent suicide. Evan Chandler, 65, was found in his luxury New Jersey apartment Nov. 5 with a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and the weapon still in his hand, police confirm. The former Beverly Hills dentist and aspiring screenwriter did not leave behind a suicide note. However, detectives found prescription medication indicating he was suffering from a serious medical condition. Police did not disclose the nature of Chandler's illness. Chandler was the driving force behind a 1994 child-molestation case, telling Santa Barbara authorities that his then 13-year-old son, Jordan, had been sexually abused by the singer during sleepovers at Neverland Ranch. The allegations sparked an investigation that led Jackson, in an effort to clear his name, to voluntarily allow his genitalia to be photographed as evidence. Before the case could ever go to trial however, the Moonwalker's attorneys eventually convinced him to settle with the Chandlers for a reported $22 million. [Edited 11/18/09 9:24am] [Edited 11/18/09 9:25am] May the truth come out, for once and for all. I hope Jordan will clear up everything , one day. [Edited 11/18/09 9:31am]

MJ is mentioned a lot in this video. I hope people don't think the subject matter is a part of his legacy.

Which of these would you like to see? : -Bad World Tour in Wembley or Los Angeles on DVD and Blu Ray -DVD boxset of The Jackson 5ive's television appearances and TV specials -Moonwalker in HD quality on DVD and Blu Ray -An "Ultimate Video Collection" compilation of ALL of Michael's videos remastered on one set -Making Michael Jackson's Thriller on DVD -The Victory Tour on DVD -The Triumph Tour on DVD -The Jacksons Variety Show on DVD -HIStory Tour in Munich or Gothenburg on DVD Well, I already have Moonwalker on DVD, but a HD version would certainly be awesome. Bad tour MUST be released, same with Victory and Triumph tours. Since they're both short films, I'd also like to see "Ghosts" and "Captain EO" on one DVD/BluRay. I know that's probably unlikely due to different rights holders etc though. |

They need to do a video anthology, something massive. Like a 10-disc DVD boxset.
-Jackson 5 Concert -Jacksons Mexico City Concert -Jacksons Destiny Concert -Jacksons Triumph Concert -Jacksons Victory Tour Concert -Michael Jackson Bad Tour Concert -Michael Jackson Dangerous Tour Concert -Michael Jackson HIStory Tour Concert -Michael Jackson 30th Anniversary Celebration With TV performances (like the Ed Sullivan show), TV ads from the concerts, Pepsi Commercials, Jacksons videos like Can You Feel It & Blame It On The Boogie, maybe some other rare stuff. Will this ever happen? Of course not, but a nice boxset with concerts from every era, plus extras and a book with information, essays and pictures and maybe even a live CD would really be neat.

Sony doesn't own the rights to the footage, so they have no "say-so" in anything.

Janet Jackson: Michael Was 'In Denial' About Drug Abuse November 18 Janet Jackson says she recognized her brother Michael's drug problem, and tried to help him, but that he rebuffed those attempts to intervene. "You can't make 'em drink the water," Jackson told ABC News in an interview airing Wednesday. When asked if her brother was in denial about his addiction, she replied, "Possibly." "I wish he could answer this question for you and not me," she told ABC's Robin Roberts. "I felt that he was in denial." She blames Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's personal physician, for his death June 25. Prosecutors in Los Angeles are weighing charges against Murray, who told police he administered a powerful anesthetic to the singer shortly before he died. During the interview, the 43-year-old Janet Jackson spoke of her upcoming diet book, "True You," which chronicles her lifelong struggle to control her weight. She has gained some mastery over her self-image, she said, after years of "just picking yourself apart all the time because you're so used to being kind of picked apart." She said she hasn't seen "This Is It," the new documentary film spotlighting her late brother as he prepared for the concert tour that would've taken place last summer. "I definitely won't, not right now," she said. "I don't know if I will ever see it." http://www.billboard.com/...3697.story

Bit late on this, but I just saw Evan Chandler has died.
I've been reading the news and now, after two people in this long story are dead (MJ and Chandler), now these articles seem fit to include the fact that Jackson's insurers, and not MJ himself, paid the settlement. I'm seeing the line about insurers in more and more articles now. 16 years after they've beat the dead horse of "MJ paying off his accusers". I wonder if there will ever be any more revelations in this sad story.

MJ did have problems before, I think Janet's talking about those times. But hey, MJ cleaned up by himself, no more painkillers, etc...as the autopsy reports showed. End. Just so folks don't forget. MJ obviously did have a problem or else he wouldn't have had a personal physician pumping him full of crap. The family didn't call him a junkie, they said he had a problem, and it looks as if he did.
I guess because he may have been addicted to these sleeping agents and not painkillers or cocaine it means he wasn't an addict? Why can't the man have his flaws? [Edited 11/18/09 15:45pm]
