So that's why she's got hands and arms like a man now.

Manglin' that neck and strings night and day has really built up her strength! wink

I can't wait to hear her shred those lighting fast phrygian mode runs on her next album and then shred the place up live like Yngwie Malmsteen! I can definitely see a future for her with G3 - add her and you got G4! cool lol[/quote]

Bring it on! Guitar class is in session! lol

Imagine the possibilities for dramatic, three guitar duels and dialogues between these three axe masters. The improvisational genius of Madonna blending with the tonal beauty and poise of Andre (Santana got nothing on him! biggrin ), all underpinned by the monolithic feedback blasts, squeals and wails from the highly experimental tonebox and 'all-over-the-guitar' noise thang of Lil' Wayne!

And then we bring a softer feel to things in the eye-opening, revelatory acoustic set, where they are joined by special guest Beyonce on tasteful mandolin.

I can see the 'Guitar World' 'G3 2008' fold-out poster already! wink

So, Audience,

Who is your favorite living guitar player?

Not really isolated to one particular player as the ones I enjoy all bring something unique to the table.

Just a short list off the top of my head...

George Benson - his older instrumental material
Jeff Beck - over 60 and still able to bring it
Allan Holdsworth
Jean-Paul Bourelly
Wayne Krantz
Tommy Emmanuel
Lionel Loueke
Greg Howe
Johnny Smith
- from what I can tell he's still alive
Oz Noy
Keb Mo
Buddy Guy
B.B. King
Larry Carlton
Robben Ford

...well, maybe not so short. confused
(please don't ask for the long list) wink

"
Jimmy Rosenberg Concert Utrecht October 7th cancelled.

October 5th, 2007. Over the last few days, Jimmy has had a crisis in his health, and sadly has had to be admitted to a clinic in the South of Holland. We visited him yesterday at the clinic, and had to accept the advice of his doctor, that Jimmy was really too sick to perform just now, and must remain under supervised medical attention for the immediate future. We took a file of good will messages, amounting to hundreds of emails from his fans, and this cheered him up a little, although he was sad not to be able to fulfill his performing obligations, until further notice.

It is with great sadness and regret therefore, that we have to cancel Jimmys live performance at SJU Jazz club in Utrecht this coming weekend, and send our sincere and heartfelt apologies to the many fans who were hoping to hear Jimmy play."

Sad really sad!

I'd love to have this Eastman model show up under the Xmas tree...

...Custom Uptown Archtop - AR910CE - Blonde ($3500, reasonable for a handmade archtop)

Their Jim Fisch models are incredibly affordable for a handmade archtop...

Do you know why the Jimmy Rosenberg is Back DVD has been delayed? In the promo trailer it says "release date spring 2007".

I hope it comes out this month.

Yeah, I was going that route this past summer, but that all changed because God's Plans didn't allow for me to become the best.....the best I can be, that is. A shame, really. I haven't touched the strat since August. It just sits over here in its little corner. Lonely.
