I think him being white may have added a little fuel to the fire for some people, not particularly the O'Jays. It was not the sole reason there was the upset over this. He hasn't put enough time in at work. If you retire from the Post Office and the company gives you a farewell party, do you really want the newbie who has only been there a year giving the toast on how wonderful you work was? What the fuck would they really now about your 40 hard years there?? I love your Post Office employee analogy. It says exactly what we and The O'Jays have been saying all of this time (with no racial disrespect to Justin intended). Well put. | |
