prince worked with the MEGA gifted, child prodigy, Tevin Campbell who was only 12 @ the time. They did a movie 2gether & prince gave him two of his biggest hits... It's NOTHING nasty, creepy, provocative about it either.

Displaying IMG_3684.JPG

I wouldn't say exactly that. Tevin was a great singer who featured in a Prince-produced song and Tevin made a cameo in a 95-minute Prince music video filled with boring, long interludes in between the music performances. Well, at least that's how I remember it from my one and only time watching that whole horrendous thing. Prince needed a real director to try to make that into something. Add a director (a GOOD one!) and take away "The Time" and focus on the main story without making it a sequel to "Purple Rain" and you have a decent movie. (at least I assume).

Under The Cherry Moon sucked also, but at least you had the humor, the bromance and the romance to make it a little interesting. Everything about the movie Graffiti Bridge is stale and feels forced and uninspired. (well at least besides the performances).

Ok, I'm done with my rant. Back to topic lol

Are U kidding me? Tevin @ 12 could OUTSING any rnb singer during his and older generations. I remember when D'sngelo(yes D'angelo again) wrote the lead song off the "Jason Lyric's" movie soundtrack "U will Know" that had EVERY hot rnb singer singing in it @ the time. They all appeared on the Grammy's and Tevin OUTSUNG ALL OF THEM!! He still sounds good as ever..

But unfortunately RnB black singers aren't in anymore confused . Unless your name is Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake & Sam Smith.. confused

I didn't say anything negative about Tevin. I just didn't go in to detail about him. I was just focusing on the movie

Ziggy Marley actually has talent, though smile He's not some rich,Hollywood kid who decided to become a "star" like his father. He's a real musician.

if you notice the period at the end of the first sentence, then you'll understand what I'm saying.

To help you understand a little bit more, you said that Tevin and Prince "made a movie 2gether". And I wouldn't say exactly that as I explained further in my original response to you.

He was born Jakob Dylan. His father legally changed his name in 1962.

I'd rather we discuss typos than Willow Smith.

Prince's worst typo? "Everyday is a Winding Road." I don't care if Sheryl Crow made the mistake first (didn't check, don't care). It should be EVERY DAY!

The new title should be HIT&RUN or HIT+RUN or HITANDRUN. HITNRUN = hit in run. And what is that?

It's not a typo, it's people being wrong. There's HUNDREDS of instances of people making this "typo".

.

And it isn't a typo. They didn't just accidentally type an "a" there because their fingers slipped. They're using the wrong word.
Same as "your" vs "you're": not a typo.
Same as "there" vs "their" vs "they're": not a typo.
Same as people using apostrophes in lines like "he want's this": not a typo.

Maybe they they think they are being clever. Thinking the concept of everyday(normal,typical...kinda like everyday people) as being a winding road(hard, difficult to maintain regardless of it being 'everyday')and not thinking of each and every day being a winding road.

I try to be a normal, sane, typical, in-the-box kinda person, but that shit be hard.
