Will.I.am and the Black Eyed Peas couldve fit on here somewhere.
- E-mail - orgNote - ![]() |
now that would have ruined it.
- E-mail - orgNote - ![]() |
Actually it really doesn't sound anything like the Black Eyed Peas, you people are only saying that because its the only popular mainstream group with a semi-electro sound you can think of. In all actuality, no, this does not sound like BEP, Will.I.am, or Fergie.

This one definitely sounds great when played loudly on a sound system and not crappy laptop speakers. I don't listen to any Peas or other rap/hip-hop stuff, so I don't know whether it sounds like that or not, but I think it'd kick ass in a club.
It also has Prince's sense of humor, I can picture his sly grin when he does the Yoda line. Some of y'all take shit way too seriously.

Listened to this again, in the car, and I came upto to traffic lights and had to turn it down, I didn't want any other drivers thinking I was listening to commercial pop radio or anything. Fucking awful track, worst on the album, worthy of being on MPLSound.
Like I said in another thread, this is like GCS2000 produced by Black Eyed Peas or something - Worst of Prince, worst of commercial late 00s American pop all rolled into one - KILL IT WITH FIRE.

OK, so I kinda love this!
Maybe it's because I just listened to "Everybody Loves Me", so there's only up from there. It's fun! I like the lyrics as corny as they are.
What's up w/ the abrupt ending though? How can I stand 2 stay where I am? / Poor butterfly who don't understand.
- E-mail - orgNote - ![]() |
The abrupt ending is because it was actually from his NEXT album and segued into another song. It seems he decided to put it at the end of 20TEN as a preview of whats coming next, just like he put No More Candy at the end of MPLSOUND as a preview of the 20TEN sound.

Hey if you like it, more power to you. This is just another example of Prince trying to sound like what he thinks is hot these days commercially.

This time it's actually decent! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

It sure doesn't... The BEPs lol! Nothing like them... not even remotely Dance... Let me see you dance
- E-mail - orgNote - ![]() |
I'll just state the obvious here: This song reminds me of that $77 laydown for the Lotusflower ripoff...and the reason Prince will be a download-only artist for me for quite a while.
- E-mail - orgNote - ![]() |
once again we are polar opposites... go figure? (smile) Dance... Let me see you dance

I heard three song samples on another thread that sounded pretty good and from reading the reviews and descriptions of each song in the other threads, the album sounds like it might be pretty good...that is if those people's descriptions are correct.
However, when I got down to this last song and started reading the reviews and descriptions, it didn't take me but a second to figure out that it must be shit hop. That's all it takes for me to leave this album sitting right in the store when it's released. If a friend of mine buys it, I may have him to make me a copy of all the other songs but my hard earned money is not going to go towards shit hop and I don't care if it's only one song. Prince apparently still has a flea or two left from lying with shit hop dogs but I want my house flea free. Andy is a four letter word.
