Overall, on first listen, I liked it. 
I can see dancing around my condo to it when it comes on shuffle. The crowd effect stuff was a little cheesy for my taste and, yeah, not my cup of tea lyrically. But not bad. |

To me it sounds like he had some lyrics, and wanted to incorporate into music somehow.
But to me it sound like brutally and painfully trying to pound a square peg into a round hole in the most unsophisticated way. Great guitar work for sure, rocks hard in places, right out of the Lotus for sure, but very clunky and awkward. [Edited 2/26/10 6:01am] | |

It actually reminds me of the Everlasting Now ...rocking track with no commercial appeal...has the sound of a live track but not.... His songs sound less and less like "songs" to me...maybe he is just creating a new genre...I mean it isn't "Current", it is like some twist of fision, rock and jazz or something..I dunno....could have easily been on any album released in the past 5 or so years....oh well... I ain't going anywhere.....
