What a mess.

There are far too many disparate elements competing with each other and so the whole thing just sounds muddled and without any discernible melody.

The only bit I liked was the breakdown halfway through.

Utter drivel Prince.

WOW. Quite a few twists and turns... like a musical rollercoaster ride. He's using different sounds and effects from those on 'Lotusflow3r' and 'MPLsound'.

No ode 2 Hendrix going on here at all, as was heavy on the 'Lotusflow3r' album. This is 100% "pure Prince".

I really liked that softer section, with the distorted effect on his voice.

Guitar parts seem 2 come at U from every direction.

Love the pitch drop on the word, "down" in "...something amazing is about 2 go down".

A lame montage of Princey trademarks. Squeals, guitar solos, Play in the Sunshine chants of "play" but as a whole turns out to be an uninspired dirge.

Didnt know what to expect, heard it and upon first listen
here are some observations.

Anyways,,,starts which a choppy guitar/bass beat...
Im sure peeps are gonna b hating the "made in the image of god" line..well some of u....I cant remember all lyrics, but sounds like he is saying
he is who he is because of cause and effect....and also lyrics about not
dwelling on the past.
The song is a good song especially the guitar wailing and breakdowns near the end..it is nothing groundbreaking,,,but also not a dud.

Ok so theres a few of us sitting here listening 2 it, looking at each other shaking our heads. Very very average at best. Good guitar work spoiled by a bad song.

Laughable and so out of touch, sooooo out of touch!

When he finally shuts up and does a bit of guitar noodling, I was thinking "OK, maybe that was just a horrible intro flashing be back to 2000-era dribble", but no the guitar is brief and he goes back into it!

It's like a cross between 'Rock & Roll Is Alive' and 'Cybersingle'.

My GOODNESS, that was bad. Wow!

this is actually the worst track played all morning. So disappointed, like I said a few months back he so needs to take a break from recording.

It sounds very '95-96 to me like in between Gold And C&D, That heavy riff at the end, especially: Baaaah, bah-bah=bah

I'd have setlled just for the guitar part at the end, but it is a bit of a grower (listened twice )
