The song and performance last night were awesome! I can tell he was havin fun up there...man is beautiful, and the music shows it.
Might be part of a new album I hope--love the energy baby!

Me? It was ok, but I would think a 50 year old man could come up with a better idea for a song than how good he is in bed. And it sounded more rock-a-billy than James brown. (except the horns).

But it dosn't make me want to buy the song or whatever album it might trun up on.

I just realized that the Palm Springs gay "White Party" was last weekend.....I noticed Prince was in all white on Jay Leno last night and then the subject matter of the song can be taken ....well any way you want...if the boys of "the springs" were watching last night Prince will bring a ton of the boys out.... they are all in town because of the White Party.....That's some serious ticket sales!!!!! Smart man!!!!

I haven't yet seen this, but just watched the performance of Musicology on Leno, and then Come On on Leno, and Come On was badass!

The whole thing was just cooler. The Emancipation/NPS days get a bad rap, but I always liked that big slow rolling groove of those days.

All right, I saw it. Meh.

It had a decent energy, it seemed the changes of the song didn't come through that clearly so it sounded kind of monotone. Still I could kind of hear they existed, they weren't being accented in a way that translated. Like when I first heard Cream on Arsenio I thought it was boring, but the subtleties of the recording made it come alive as a song.

But I did like the feel of the song. I think it's unfair to lump it in with the JB style stuff. The beat was closer to a rock beat ala Live 4 Love. I also liked that he did a clean guitar solo instead of the normal dirty one.

Anyway, I'd like to hear the studio version.
