But it sounds to me like it should be running
over the closing credits for some teen movie.
And I don't mean that in a good way.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. It sticks in your head the way a good pop tune should.

Prince hasn't sounded this playful in perhaps 2 decades. I adore every element of this song, particularly the "hey yea yea yeahs" by our girls. The song bursts with an energy that Prince hasn't displayed in awhile.

I just can't get past the lyrics...really cheesy and immature. Hard to believe "Planet Earth" and this song are on the same album. A very good lyrical song, and an absolute horrid one. I agree on the "teen movie" comment.

I don't understand why some people dislike the lyrics so much. Sure they're simple and throw-away stuff, but they're also fun and light. I wouldn't mind them too much. Fit the song, IMO. At least they're not "you need to do this or that or you burn in hell" kinda stuff.

Actually, I quite like this verse:

After listening to this a few times, one wonders why this wasn't chosen as the 1st single? This is the only single on the CD that has the potential to be a top 40 POP hit.

This just sounds fun and sounds like P having fun. I like it but I also am a big Shania Twain fan also.....or was until UP. She's part of the small bit of country I listen to.

This song actually shocked me...in a good way.I like it.Makes you wanna do the corny Carlton dance from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Im definitely getting a SOTT "never take the place of your man" and "play in the sunshine" feel.Love it.

Who's playing bass on this song. It sounds like Larry Graham but i know LG wasn't involved in the PE sessions. But the bass on this joint sounds good!
