2) Looking at the 3121 merchandise on NPGMC, I'm guessing there's going to be a song called Lolita or something like it on the album!

I remember somebody had posted a tracklist and it had a song with Lolita in the title. Does anyone know where I can find the tracklist?

As I've said before, it is an okay litte filler album track, but not a great lead off single. Maybe it's too much to expect something ground-breaking or epic sounding or risky from Prince these days, but this little ballad is so safe. It doesn't offer anything new musically or lyrically that Prince hasn't done many times over. Compared to a lot of music that's out there at the moment, it sounds weak and is just going to make people think Prince is irrelevant right now.

It would be interesting to do a poll to see who thinks it is good or disappointing.

For me, it's disappointing.

This video proves once again that Prince is the King of Sensuality.
Without explicit details and with loads of imagination, this video/song screams PASSION.

I think the fake tracklists came out AFTER the merch pics on the npgmc had been put up by accident then taken down. so it was an easily educated guess that there would be a song called Lolita. I hate to say it, but if there was a masterpiece of rock or funk on the new album, then it would be released as first single. Unfortunately, if an albums not that good, there are going to be more sales from a mediocre ballad than a mediocre pop, funk or rock song released as first single.

It's not a bad song, but it's Prince and sux to see him in this adult contemporary mode.

Listening to it made me wanna throw a wine and cheese party.

Ok, usually I just scan this site for the news because people on here are either blindly positive, or egregiously negative, and it's a bore, but I have to chime in on this song. It's a real disappointment. Man the first five seconds sound sweet, like it's gonna be really experimental and interesting and then bam, nothing, a straight bossa nova with Jr. High lyrics. This is the kinda song you write in your college music composition class for a homework assignment. To be fair, I liked the production and instrumentation, but Prince, challenge us please. Say what you want about The Rainbow Children, it was different, experimental, fresh. Te amo corazon aint that. C'mon, the title is I love you sweetheart.
