Don’t quote me but that picture on the left looks like it’s from his performance of ‘Dolphin’ on the David Letterman Show. He ‘dies’ at the end of the performance and Mayte cradles him in her arms.

I see that to be the truth. From my own personal experience--not all love is the same..even though you can see magic with Prince with other people, but with Matye I feel he was really open and included her in pretty much everything he did including adding "M" into his symbol and she was included in so many musical moments in his life. I agree with everything you said. I do think he really loved Manuela too. But yes I think Mayte always was very special to him. I did see the Arsenio clip you were talking about and I saw what you saw. My heart ached for him. It was a pretty uncomfortable moment.

I think Steven Parke took most of the photos for that shoot, except for the cover photo. There were a few photos Prince took also.

I believe one of the photos that Prince took was posted on one of the first pages of the thread. Thanks for the info.

This letter was faxed to Controversy magazine June 1st, 1993 as PR for Prince geting ready to announce changing his name to the symbol, and also to promote new music for the future release of the Gold album. Just making sure you are aware of that....
