well folks, can't believe I am saying this...cause I have been very excited about this site...but after reading the reviews and complaints of the site so far, I am tending to just wait and buy the album at Target and save some bucks. Not hearing anything that's worth $77 so far. The minute I hear about vault tracks I will pay immediately...but until then NOPE! |

I downloaded MPLSOUND on a mac and got something called a file that says download_gp.php that I can't do anything with!!!!! GRRRRR!!!!! I was trying to get the mP3 version! READ A LITTLE BIT. As mentioned a hundred times above, rename the file to .zip and extract it. Everybody, Vanilla versions of Firefox/IE/Chrome/and Safari probably have little problem with this site. Especially if you add it as a trusted site. If you have toolbars, webbar enhancements, etc., are missing patches or are out of date (for example, I have FireFox Web Developer tools and such on my FireFox), you might be killing important script functions The php script used to download the file is supposed to rename the file after download by itself. changing the extension to .zip didn't help me. either that, or it didn't dl completely, i don't know, because winrar ran into an error as it was extracting, if that in fact is what it was doing.
i was dling the wav of LF. i've given up that tack and i'm going or the mp3 of MPLS now | |

I think i'm in the boat with a lot of folks probably. Unless you join it site unseen you get access to nothing but that sad little tv on the outside playing Kiss and that static sounding radio station with a sad announcement.
This sucks ass...he wants people to pay 77.00 upfront not knowing what they're gonna get. I thought there would be some kind of limited access or sample section but no... you gets NOTHING. Way to treat your hardcore fans Prince because whether you know it or not those are the only ones signing up anyway. This is jacked up. A waste of waiting.  "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" Not enjoying the site, it's too much like hard work. Why he can't just have something straightforward with links for music, videos etc. I'm 39 and have a job and a family, I've got an Xbox for playing games on.

Leaving aside the numerous technical faults which we have to assume will get resolved in time, the site is still a bit of a mess isn't it? I'm sure it is perfectly usable running locally on the designer's Mac, but as a live internet site... yikes. The loading times are frequently measured in minutes, not seconds. It's all so stuttery, with such rotten framerates, even on quite a well specced computer. The layout is so messy, it's an unholy blend of all the very worst of Prince's interactive efforts - Interactive, The Dawn, NPG Music Club etc. It suffers heavily from "mystery meat navigation" too - what will clicking on the pyramid get me, or clicking on the building? Is that thing clickable? The sad thing is, someone charged Prince a lot of money to make this site, a site which literally no one will enjoy using. We'll put up with it to get to the music or concert tickets, but it is a horrible site to actually navigate. I agree. Prince should have built a simple site without all the interactive flash crap. | |

I think I got tix, but not sure which show. When I tried to get tix, I got an error saying that tix weren't available, but my card was charged for the tix and the membership fee. There was no confirmation email or anything.
I was able to navigate within the site when I signed up. The videos had static and didn't play smooth. I exited the site hoping that it would play better after I logged in again, but now I can't get back in! | |

I only see Lotusflow3r If you scroll over to the left you can click on the moon I think and get Bria's album. Where is LotusFlow3r? | |

Is the blue orb on the front page supposed to do something other than just zoom in?
And could someone list all the current content of the members area for those of us who want to know what we're getting for our $77? i.e. - What file format and bit-rate are the albums, what videos are on the site, are they streaming only or downloadable, images, text, discography, what?....
