I agree. I really hope that some of the glitches are just a result of server overload. I think some of the other annoyances will be tweaked little by little. The original npgmusic club had a lot of mystery navigation, but little by little the designers started making changes and adding alt tags to give you an idea of what the hell you were doing.

Nothing here I couldn't get on the web. Not for Prince Inc. lack of trying, but I was partway expecting the beginning of a Purple Youtube site.

I understand the commercial for the new music, but the commercial should be built into the Total Cost of creating the music package and factored into the sale of the CD, DVD, etc. I hate feeling like I paid $77 for a COMMERCIAL for a product I'm going to buy at Target in a couple of days for $20.

That said... I probably had first choice of tix to any of the shows when I logged on. But since I cannot make it to LA on such short notice, I gave them back to the pool. Plus, the lossless format on the new CD is EXACTLY one of the perks that I expect to have as a paying club member. Just one of the perks though.

So again, when I get some of those premium seating arrangements, I'll be a little Mo' pumped.

I must voice my opinion concerning the way Prince and his people handled the site's launch, the ticket offering for the three shows and even the location. While it's true that I wasn't forced to participate, I'm truly sadden at how ineptly handled this whole situation was. From tix that suspiciously sold out well before many fans could get their hands on them to a Web site that launched with several bugs and confusion yet promises to bill you $77 a year, this thing was cooking with chaos and disorder!

I paid for a membership but of course, was unable to get tickets to the Conga room. What's more, they are now being sold at outrageous prices on Ebay, making them totally out of reach and too expensive for those, like myself, who am already out of lots of money for airfare from Chicago to L.A., hotel accommodations, concert tickets to two shows and a membership fee. However, I will get a T-shirt in about 4-6 weeks!

Though I've been a long time fan of Prince, I REALLY feel like he dropped the ball on this endeavor and I feel a bit ripped off and angered by this whole situation. My whole night was wasted waiting for this B.S. Thanks for looking out for the "tru fans" Prince.

so, i had the download.gp php file thing going. except when i tried to click download again, and immediately went to the blank web page that opens when you click the download button, then it prompted me to download mplsound and lotusflower, no more download.gp php file. They are in process of downloading now, i will confirm if they download properly.

FOR MAC USERS OUT THERE:

1. I was able to register/pay initially through Firefox. None of the album download links would work for me, though.

2. I reset Safari and logged into the site using Safari. MP3 album downloads did work for me at that point.

FOR EVERYONE:

1. You have a choice of downloading each album as MP3s or WMAs. I chose MP3. Songs are encoded at 320 kbps.

2. There's no indication of how large the downloads actually are. Here's the count for the MP3s:

LotusFlow3r: 99.3 mb
Mplsound: 101 mb
Elixer: 94.2 mb
