Well it's kinda redundant what anyone thinks about the SOTT band's live version of Hot Thing given that 1) Prince never felt inclined to officially release it 2) Prince today stated that in his opinion he performs it on his own as he intended it to sound and that a band isn't required.
Moving on.......setlist was changed up since last leg. glad he opened with Gold - worked well the last times he did that. And how long was PR played out....! Be interesting to read the reviews when they come in. | |

I think the breaks were also a little long. He needs to tune the mixing and sort out the guitar and lights. I don't want any distractions. It needs to look and sound seamless and it usually is.

I'm just comparing Pricne's words with his actions. The above is just one of many, many times Prince used other people's music without even bothering to ask if they'd be happy with that.
