I'm still in awe from last night. I've never had more fun in my entire life. I was literally in tears by the end of the show because I'd finally had my dream of seeing Prince perform live come true. I'm so thankful, I'm so grateful that he came to Australia. I've seen Prince live in my lifetime, words can not do justice to the happiness that I'm feeling right now. I was less than 50 metres away from him as well, when he was entering and exiting the arena. I've never had a better experience in my life, I'm so proud to be a Prince fan and always will be. I'll never forget this show.

He could have played any song he wanted, and I still would have loved it.

I also got to see prince for the very first time (12 th may) and felt happier than I have ever felt! Easily my best night in 15 years, perhaps ever. I am so glad to see how many other people felt that way! I actually felt like I was high on extasy or something, except it lasted for days! It was like that feeling when you first fall in love and all your senses are heightened and everything is wonderful!

I am relieved to see this is common after a prince concert, as I thought "I am really sad desperate housewife and need to get out more if a concert is my best night ever!"

I was also very shocked at how I was feeling increasingly attracted to him during the concert. I've always really loved his music, but found him a bit vile physically, but oh my god he is DAMN sexy, has charisma in buckets! This also left me feeling like A desperate housewife, but it's normal ..right?

Just hope he comes back soon!

There's another orger, i think "mysterymum," who also posted about being a housewife/mom who recently strangely became "attracted" to prince. You will find fellowship here on the org!

I've been a fan since the 90s, but never found him physically attractive - a bit "vile" is a good description lol - I even saw him in concert back then (Symbol album era) but I was really young and had young hot boyfriends, tall and more "masculine." Fast forward a couple of decades, and the more I see/read interviews and these threads & posts, and hear songs like "Shhh" and "When I Lay My Hands on U," I have also developed a strange sensation, like when I read about his failed relationships and his 21 year old gfs ... a sensation something like "protectiveness" or "jealousy." But it's still mild at this point. I can only imagine what might happen if I saw him in concert now. He did 21 nights in L.A. last year, very affordable apparently, but I was having a baby so I missed the whole thing.

I'm sorry you missed the 22 May concert - it sounds like it was amazing, almost 3 hours, and many people getting the very front for the encores. But again, I missed all 21 nights in L.A., so you're lucky you saw him at all.

Artist76 I really hope u get another chance soon! You'll have to let me know if the same thing happens to u! Lol!

As to those moaning about the TelePrompTer, He's admitted he often forgets lyrics, many geniuses are a little absent minded or easily distracted. He is very spontaneous which is why the show is different every night. I don't see what it detracts from the show?
