Jazz Cafe show was sold out as soon as they went onsale apparently...I was through at 12pm. The first show for $200 still can be had now...limit of four on those. The late charity show is auction only. Ticketmaster phone line experiencing high volume and can't get through on there...unsure if you can even get tix for these shows through phone.

wish they would announce more info about the charity event. $500 is a bit steep but if it includes dinner, it wouldn't sting so bad.

i wonder if he realizes how much purple panic is happening today and work productivity is non-existent. does he feel our pain?

Phew! That was lucky - I was in and out in about 20 seconds.....

I have word that at least one will be at House of blues, So if it is more than one venue I can only imagine what he's going to pull.

Say Brothers...Can I get some credit...NO?!?!?

If one is at the HOB, he's probably just going down the street for the others. Roxy? Whiskey? Key Club? Viper Room?

A trusted friend just told me that these shows are most likely at The House of Blues on Sunset for what it's worth.

All three? They're clearing out the venue after each one..? I've been to the HOB several times and if that's the case, it's going to be a nightmare re parking/waiting/etc. And with the short turnaround between shows, especially the second and third...either the sets are going to be short or no way they stick anywhere close to that schedule. But, makes sense for them to be all in one venue to cut down on travel time both for Prince and anyone trying to attend more than one.

Theoretically, House of Blues would be the perfect venue for something like this, because he could use the Parish Room for the 7pm and late show, which would mean using the front entrance and use the main room for the 10pm show, which would mean use the entrance by the valet. With that said, I highly doubt House of Blues will be one of the venues. I think it's going to be south of Hollywood.

Ticketmaster SUCKS! I should be grateful we got the first show but I had the tickets and they fell through, because TM thought I was someone else. Asking me someone else's security question! WTF?!?!?! mad

Of course, now it's sold out! confused

Oh well...I will have to be satisfied with the first show. cool

The charity one was auction only. I figured that out last night and the idiot TM works just fine for this show...of course! cool

Hysterical buying tickets to a venue that's yet to be named. Purple Madness ensues lol

Start to be curious about the first show.... Tix are still available.

10:00 show says 250 capacity & 12:00 show says 100 capacity.

The first show must be a bigger venue.

Anyone else notice the zip code for the "secret spot" is listed as 90010?

I looked it up and that is a tiny area. The only place in that area I can think of is the Wiltern.

Maybe 90010 is where Ticketmaster itself is located or something.

Not sure if I should pull the trigger on $200 show. That's a lot of $$$

As of 12:25pm, still could get single tix for the middle show...for such a small capacity, kind of interesting...

Where did you find the capacity? That's interesting. Doubtful there are so many different venues in that tiny zip code, so maybe the zip code doesn't mean anything.

Maybe if the first venue is somewhere big, it won't sell out at that price, and they'll lower it tomorrow...
