I had the same thought. But then Trump sure the heck isn't a Spock so I guess the female part is where the comparison begins and ends. And I hope the US doesn't blow up like the ship. yikes.

But they tried to throw in other biases too, like with Spock and that other Admiral.

I do like this, there is the cheesy, with the comfort of the familiar and they try to actually say something with their stories.

I think it was more about having a female U.S President (nothing to do with Trump).

Star Trek extras. The guy in the middle pops up a few times in season 1 even though he died several times

For the next generation this lady with the short spike hair is a popular extra. She even made it in the movies

OK in episode 6 "Come Not Between the Dragons" Kirks mentions that there are only 8 starships left after the Lexington is out of commission after some kind of warp core breach. Now in the last episode the Hood is destroyed after a warp core breach. Something is going on, leading up to something
